God's words through Amos the prophet
Amos 1:1 The words of Amos[1], who
was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in
the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the
son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
1
"AMOS": 5986. 'Amowc, aw-moce'; from H6006; burdensome;
Amos, an Isr. prophet:--Amos.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for
the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall
flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days
of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and
all the saints with thee.
The LORD
will roar from Zion
Amos 1:2 And he said, The LORD
will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the
habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel
shall wither.
This verse sets the time frame of the
book of Amos to the end of this earth age. At Jesus' return.
Joel 3:16 The LORD also
shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be
the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of
Israel.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in
the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there
shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall
remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
God pronounces judgment on eight locations
One:
Amos 1:3 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Damascus[1], and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with
threshing instruments of iron:
1
"DAMASCUS": 1834. Dammeseq, dam-meh'-sek; or ` Duwmeseq,
doo-meh'-sek; or Darmeseq, dar-meh'-sek; of for. or.; Damas-cus,
a city of Syria:--Damascus.
Threshing a people. Being too harsh.
Amos 1:4 But I will send a fire
into the house of Hazael[1], which shall devour the palaces of
Benhadad[2].
1
"HAZAEL": 2371. Chaza'el, khaz-aw-ale'; or Chazah'el,
khaz-aw-ale'; from H2372 and H410; God has seen;
Chazael, a king of Syria:--Hazael.
2
"BENHADAD": 1130. Ben-Hadad, ben-had-ad'; from H1121 and
H1908; son of Hadad; Ben-Hadad, the name of several Syrian
kings:--Ben-hadad.
Amos 1:5 I will break also the bar
of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and
him that holdeth the sceptre[1] from the house of Eden: and the
people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.
1
"SCEPTRE": 7626. shebet, shay'-bet; from an unused root
prob. mean. to branch off, a scion, i.e. (lit.) a stick (for
punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, etc.) or (fig.) a
clan:-- X correction, dart, rod, sceptre, staff, tribe.
Who holds the sceptre? The king, or whoever rules.
Two:
Amos 1:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and
for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver
them up to Edom[1]:
In this verse we find that Edom is
another name of Esau.
1
"EDOM": 123. 'Edom, ed-ome'; or (fully) 'Edowm, ed-ome';
from H122; red [see Gen. 25 : 25]; Edom, the elder
twin-brother of Jacob; hence the region (Idumaea)
occupied by him:--Edom, Edomites, Idumea.
Amos 1:7 But I will send a fire on
the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
Amos 1:8 And I will cut off the
inhabitant from Ashdod[1], and him that holdeth the sceptre from
Ashkelon[2], and I will turn mine hand against Ekron[3]: and the
remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
1
"ASHDOD": 795. 'Ashdowd, ash-dode'; from H7703; ravager;
Ashdod, a place in Pal.:--Ashdod.
2
"ASHKELON": 831. 'Ashqelown, ash-kel-one'; prob. from
H8254 in the sense of weighing-place (i.e. mart); Ashkelon, a
place in Pal.:--Ashkelon, Askalon.
3
"EKRON": 6138. 'Eqrown, ek-rone'; from H6131;
eradication; Ekron, a place in Pal.:--Ekron.
6131.
'aqar, aw-kar'; a prim. root; to pluck up (espec. by the
roots); spec. to hamstring; fig. to exterminate:--dig
down, hough, pluck up, root up.
Three:
Amos 1:9 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus[1],
and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom[2], and
remembered not the brotherly covenant:
1
"TYRUS": 6865. Tsor, tsore; or Tsowr, tsore; the same as
H6864; a rock; Tsor, a place in Pal.:--Tyre, Tyrus.
2
"EDOM": 123. 'Edom, ed-ome'; or (fully) 'Edowm, ed-ome';
from H122; red [see Gen. 25 : 25]; Edom, the elder
twin-brother of Jacob; hence the region (Idumaea)
occupied by him:--Edom, Edomites, Idumea.
Amos 1:10 But I will send a fire
on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.
Four:
Amos 1:11 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and
for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off
all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually[1], and he kept his
wrath for ever:
1
"PERPETUALLY": 5703. 'ad, ad; from H5710; prop. a
(peremptory) terminus, i.e. (by impl.) duration, in the sense of
advance or perpetuity (substantially as a noun, either with or
without a prep.):--eternity, ever (-lasting, -more), old,
perpetually, + world without end.
Edom's only brother was Jacob, whose name was changed to
Israel by God Himself. Edom's descendants are in Russia of
today. I think someday, Edom, (or Esau), will try to take his
birthright back. See Eze 38 - 39.
Amos 1:12 But I will send a fire
upon Teman[1], which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah[2].
1
"TEMAN": 8487. Teyman, tay-mawn'; or Teman, tay-mawn';
the same as H8486; Teman, the name of two Edomites, and of the
region and desc. of one of them:--south, Teman.
2
"BOZRAH": 1224. Botsrah, bots-raw'; the same as H1223;
Botsrah, a place in Edom:--Bozrah.
Five:
Amos 1:13 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the
children of Ammon[1], and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with
child of Gilead[2], that they might enlarge their border:
1
"AMMON": 5983. 'Ammown, am-mone'; from H5971; tribal,
i.e. inbred; Ammon, a son of Lot; also his
posterity and their country:--Ammon, Ammonites.
2
"GILEAD": 1568. Gil'ad, ghil-awd'; prob. from H1567;
Gilad, a region E. of the Jordan; also the name of three Isr.:--Gilead,
Gileadite.
Remember Lot's daughters.
Gen 19:32 Come, let us make
our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may
preserve seed of our father.
Gen 19:33 And they made their
father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay
with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor
when she arose.
Gen 19:34 And it came to pass
on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold,
I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine
this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may
preserve seed of our father.
Gen 19:35 And they made their
father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and
lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when
she arose.
Gen 19:36 Thus were both the
daughters of Lot with child by their father.
Gen 19:37 And the firstborn
bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of
the Moabites unto this day.
Gen 19:38 And the younger, she
also bare a son, and called his name
Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon
unto this day.
Amos 1:14 But I will kindle a fire
in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with
shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the
whirlwind:
Amos 1:15 And their king shall go
into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
Prophecy of The Bolshevik, (Communist),
Revolution of 1917
Six:
Amos 2:1 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab[1],
and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime[2]:
1
"MOAB": 4124. Mow'ab, mo-awb; from a prol. form of the
prep. pref. m- and H1; from (her [the mother's]) father;
Moab, an incestuous son of Lot; also his territory and
desc.:--Moab.
2
"LIME": 7875. siyd, seed; from H7874; lime (as
boiling when slacked):--lime, plaister. ....
Acid has a boiling action.
In 1918, the last king of Russia, (or
Edom), and his family were murdered and their bodies put into
something like lime. Remember, this is an end time prophecy.
From a recent historical
article:
The bodies of Nicholas and his family, were soaked in acid
and burned. With the exception of two of the children, (who
were eventually identified in 2008), the remains of all the
family and their retainers were found in 1991. DNA testing
linked them to the British Royal Family, (namely Prince
Phillip).
Wonder what the atheistic
Communist would think, if they should read this prophecy, of God
Himself, over 2,600 years prior to the fact, foretelling that
they would do this thing?
Amos 2:2 But I will send a fire
upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab
shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of
the trumpet:
Remember, this is an end time prophecy.
2 Pet 3:7 But the heavens and
the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
Amos 2:3 And I will cut off the
judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof
with him, saith the LORD.
Seven:
Amos 2:4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and
for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept
his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after
the which their fathers have walked:
Isa 28:14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men,
that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
Isa 28:15 Because ye have
said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we
at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through,
it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our
refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
Amos 2:5 But I will send a fire
upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
Eight:
Amos 2:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel,
and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for
a pair of shoes;
Righteous? There's none righteous but
ONE, and HE was sold for thirty pieces of silver.
Rom 3:10 As it is written,
There is none righteous, no, not one:
Amos 2:7 That pant[1] after the
dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of
the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same
maid, to profane my holy name:
1
"PANT": 7602. sha'aph, shaw-af'; a prim. root; to inhale
eagerly; fig. to covet; by impl. to be angry; also to
hasten:--desire (earnestly), devour, haste, pant, snuff up,
swallow up.
Satan and Adam went in unto the same
woman.
Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said
unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art
cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field;
upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou
eat all the days of thy life:
Amos 2:8 And they lay
themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every
altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house
of their god.
Note the little (g) in god.
Exo 22:26 If thou at all take
thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it
unto him by that the sun goeth down:
Exo 22:27 For that is his
covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall
he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me,
that I will hear; for I am gracious.
Num 6:2 Speak unto the
children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman
shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to
separate themselves unto the LORD:
Num 6:3 He shall separate
himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no
vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he
drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
Num 6:4 All the days of his
separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree,
from the kernels even to the husk.
Num 6:5 All the days of the
vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his
head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth
himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks
of the hair of his head grow.
Amos 2:9 Yet destroyed I the
Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the
cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his
fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
Amos 2:10 Also I brought you up
from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the
wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
Just look at all God did for us. Still
we gave him trouble.
Amos 2:11 And I raised up of your
sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it
not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
Amos 2:12 But ye gave the
Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying,
Prophesy not.
They're people that don't like to hear
the word of God.
Isa 30:9 That this is a
rebellious people, lying children, children that will not
hear the law of the LORD:
Isa 30:10 Which say to the
seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us
right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
Amos 2:13 Behold, I am pressed
under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
Don't think that God can't handle the
load. He knows how to get rid of dead weight. Just make sure
when the end time rolls around, that you're not part of that
dead weight.
Amos 2:14 Therefore the flight[1]
shall perish from the swift, and the strong[2] shall not strengthen
his force[3], neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
1
"FLIGHT": 4498. manowc, maw-noce'; from H5127; a retreat
(lit. or fig.); abstr. a fleeing:-- X apace, escape, way to
flee, flight, refuge.
2
"STRONG": 2389. chazaq, khaw-zawk'; from H2388; strong
(usu. in a bad sense, hard, bold, violent):--harder, hottest, +
impudent, loud, mighty, sore, stiff [-hearted], strong (-er).
3
"FORCE": 3581. koach, ko'-akh; or (Dan. 11 : 6)
kowach, ko'-akh; from an unused root mean. to be firm; vigor,
lit. (force, in a good or a bad sense) or fig. (capacity, means,
produce); also (from its hardiness) a large lizard:--ability,
able, chameleon, force, fruits, might, power
(-ful), strength, substance, wealth.
These people that think they have an
escape, (rapture), are in for a big surprise on this day. That
strong one, (Satan), can't deliver any in that day. Though he's
disguised as an angel of light, (chameleon),
he can't help you. Note Strong's meaning of the word
force. Satan, like a chameleon, may change himself on
the outside, but not the inside.
2 Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for
Satan himself is transformed, (disguised), into an
angel of light.
Amos 2:15 Neither shall he stand
that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not
deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse
deliver himself.
Amos 2:16 And he that is
courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith
the LORD.
Only those who remain loyal to Jesus
Christ in that day, will overcome at that time.
God to
Israel, "You only have I known"
Amos 3:1 Hear this word that the
LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the
whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
Amos 3:2 You only have I known
of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for
all your iniquities.
God chose this certain people.
He expects us to do his will. Do you spank anybody else's kids?
No. You might do something, to someone, if they were going to
harm yours. But other than that, No.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together,
except they be agreed?
There must be an agreed upon,
(designated place and time), for two to meet, in order to walk
together. In God's word, is the place, and often, is the time,
for you to meet with the Lord.
God,
through Amos, ask seven good questions
Amos 3:4 Will a lion roar in the
forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den,
if he have taken nothing?
There's nothing to roar, (brag), about,
if the hunt wasn't successful.
Amos 3:5 Can a bird fall in a
snare upon the earth, where no gin[1] is for him? shall
one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at
all?
1
"GIN": 4170. mowqesh, mo-kashe'; or moqesh, mo-kashe';
from H3369; a noose (for catching animals) (lit. or fig.); by
impl. a hook (for the nose):--be ensnared, gin, (is) snare (-d),
trap.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown
in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a
city, and the LORD hath not done it?
The sound of the trumpet usually meant
danger, (war).
God will do nothing, until
He reveals it first, through His prophets
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD
will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants
the prophets.
God has foretold all things. It's in
the Book. The Bible.
Amos 3:8 The lion hath roared, who
will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
God spoke to the prophets. They wrote
it down. It's called the Bible.
Amos 3:9 Publish in the palaces at
Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble
yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great
tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst
thereof.
Amos 3:10 For they know not to do
right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their
palaces.
Amos 3:11 Therefore thus saith the
Lord GOD; An adversary[1] there shall be even round about the
land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy
palaces shall be spoiled.
1
"ADVERSARY": 6862. tsar, tsar; or tsar, tsawr; from
H6887; narrow; (as a noun) a tight place (usually fig., i.e.
trouble); also a pebble (as in H6864); (trans.) an
opponent (as crowding):--adversary, afflicted (-tion), anguish,
close, distress, enemy, flint, foe, narrow, small, sorrow,
strait, tribulation, trouble.
Amos 3:12 Thus saith the LORD; As
the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a
piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that
dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a
couch.
Amos 3:13 Hear ye, and testify in
the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,
Great houses shall have
an end
Amos 3:14 That in the day that I
shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit
the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off,
and fall to the ground.
Amos 3:15 And I will smite the
winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall
perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the
LORD.
With hooks and fishhooks
Amos 4:1 Hear this word, ye kine
of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress
the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring,
and let us drink.
Amos 4:2 The Lord GOD hath sworn
by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he
will take you away with hooks, and your posterity
with fishhooks.
When Jesus returns, He'll put an end to
all this nonsense.
Jer 16:16 Behold, I will
send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall
fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they
shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and
out of the holes of the rocks.
Amos 4:3 And ye shall go out at
the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye
shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.
Though God has punished, Israel still doesn't repent
Amos 4:4 Come to Bethel, and
transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your
sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three
years[1]:
1
"YEARS": 3117. yowm, yome; from an unused root mean. to
be hot; a day (as the warm hours), whether lit.
(from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or
fig. (a space of time defined by an associated term), [often
used adv.]:--age, + always, + chronicles, continually (-ance),
daily, ([birth-], each, to) day, (now a, two) days (agone), +
elder, X end, + evening, + (for) ever (-lasting, -more), X full,
life, as (so) long as (. . . live), (even) now, + old, +
outlived, + perpetually, presently, + remaineth, X required,
season, X since, space, then, (process of) time, + as at other
times, + in trouble, weather, (as) when, (a, the, within a)
while (that), X whole (+ age), (full) year (-ly), + younger.
..... Green's Interlinear also
states day instead of years.
Amos 4:5 And offer a sacrifice of
thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free
offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the
Lord GOD.
Amos 4:6 And I also have given you
cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your
places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
God can make us go hungry and some
still wont turn to Him.
Amos 4:7 And also I have
withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three
months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and
caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained
upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
Amos 4:7 :
Mat 5:45 (Jesus talking).
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and
sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Amos 4:8 So two or three
cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not
satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:9 I have smitten you with
blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your
fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm[1] devoured
them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
1
"PALMERWORM": 1501. gazam, gaw-zawm'; from an unused root
mean. to devour; a kind of locust:--palmer-worm.
Amos 4:10 I have sent among you
the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I
slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have
made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have
ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Amos 4:11 I have overthrown
some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as
a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned
unto me, saith the LORD.
Prepare to meet thy
God, O Israel
Amos 4:12 Therefore thus will I do
unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee,
prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
For those who don't return to God, the
meeting might no be so pleasant.
Amos 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth
the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what
is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth
upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is
his name.
Amos 5:1 Hear ye this word which I
take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
Amos 5:2 The virgin of Israel
is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her
land; there is none to raise her up.
Is Amos talking about the five foolish virgins, spoken of in
Mat. 25:1 thru 13?
Mat 25:1 (Jesus
talking). Then shall the kingdom
of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps,
and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Mat 25:2
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Amos 5:3 For thus saith the Lord
GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an
hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave
ten, to the house of Israel.
Ten percent.
Seek ye me and live
Don't seek me in Bethel, (the house
of God)
Bethel, (the house of God), shall come to nothing
Amos 5:4 For thus saith the LORD
unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
Without the LORD, there is no life.
Amos 5:5 But seek not Bethel[1],
nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall
surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought[2].

"BETHEL": 1008. Beyth-'El, bayth-ale'; from H1004 and
H410; house of God; Beth-El, a place in
Pal.:--Beth-el.
2
"NOUGHT": 205. 'aven, aw'-ven; from an unused root perh.
mean. prop. to pant (hence to exert oneself, usually in vain; to
come to naught); strictly nothingness; also
trouble, vanity, wickedness; spec. an idol:--affliction, evil,
false, idol, iniquity, mischief, mourners (-ing), naught,
sorrow, unjust,
What would make God want to leave His
house and turn His churches to
nothingness?
Ezek 8:6 He said furthermore
unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great
abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I
should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet
again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
Most of the Christian Churches
in the end time, I think will fall for the false Christ. Making
them churches of Satan. See Rev. 2:9
and Rev 3:9. That would certainly
bring the House of God to nothing, (or naught).
Josh 4:19 And the people came
up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and
encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
Josh 4:20 And those twelve
stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in
Gilgal.
Amos 5:6 Seek the LORD, and ye
shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and
devour it, and there be none to quench it in
Bethel.
If God builds a fire, no mortal man can
put it out.
Judgment to
wormwood, (poison)
Amos 5:7 Ye who turn judgment
to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
It seems our court systems of today,
(21st. century), are full of people doing this.
Seek the one Who
made the stars
Amos 5:8 Seek him that
maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of
death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that
calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the
face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
At any time, we can turn to God, the
Creator of all things. He's quick to forgive.
Amos 5:9 That strengtheneth the
spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against
the fortress.
If God is on your side, you have
nothing to worry about.
Amos 5:10 They hate him
that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh
uprightly.
You want to be hated? Just become a
Christian. I mean a real Christian.
Israel's many transgressions and mighty sins
Amos 5:11 Forasmuch therefore as
your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens
of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell
in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink
wine of them.
Take from him burdens of wheat? Overtaxed? God knows and
keeps a record of all that we do. Those that do these sort of
things needn't think they'll get away with it. See Psalms
37:16 thru 22.
Amos 5:12 For I know your
manifold transgressions, and your mighty[1] sins: they afflict
the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the
gate from their right.
1
"MIGHTY": 6099. 'atsuwm, aw-tsoom'; or 'atsum, aw-tsoom';
pass. part. of H6105; powerful (spec. a paw); by impl.
numerous:-- + feeble, great, mighty, must, strong.
Amos 5:13 Therefore the prudent
shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
In that time? The end times. As
the old saying goes. Silence is golden.
Amos 5:14 Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with
you, as ye have spoken.
Amos 5:15 Hate the evil, and love
the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the
LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
Amos 5:16 Therefore the LORD, the
God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all
streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and
they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful
of lamentation to wailing.
Read Rev 18. It's at the very
end of time.
Amos 5:17 And in all vineyards
shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
When God passes through, things happen.
The Day of the LORD!
Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire
the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the
day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
There's no escape for the enemies of
God.
Amos 5:19 As if a man did flee
from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned
his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Amos 5:20 Shall not the
day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very
dark, and no brightness in it?
God's people are children of light.
They're not of the night.
1 Th 5:5 Ye are all the
children of light, and the children of the day: we are
not of the night, nor of darkness.
Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your
feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
Amos 5:22 Though ye offer me burnt
offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them:
neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
God don't even want to hear their singing
Amos 5:23 Take thou away from me
the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
When Satan shows up, pretending to be
Jesus, and most of the Christian community follows him, they'll
be singing to the wrong Jesus. They'll be worshiping the wrong
Messiah. No wonder Jesus will not be listening to them. Remember
the five foolish virgins!
Amos 5:24 But let judgment run
down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
It's hard to escape a mighty rushing
water.
Amos 5:25 Have ye offered unto me
sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of
Israel?
Amos 5:26 But ye have borne the
tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your
god, which ye made to yourselves.
Even after witnessing all sorts of
miracles from God, they still worshipped other gods. People of
today are the same as people back then.
Amos 5:27 Therefore will I cause
you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name
is The God of hosts.
Our captivity in the end generation
could be Mystery Babylon.
Descriptions of how good Israel has it
Amos 6:1 Woe to them that are
at ease[1] in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria,
which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of
Israel came!
1
"EASE": 7600. sha'anan, shah-an-awn'; from H7599;
secure; in a bad sense, haughty:--that is at ease, quiet,
tumult. Comp. H7946.
Gonna put your trust in a mountain?
Trust the creation and not the Creator?
Amos 6:2 Pass ye unto Calneh, and
see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath
of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or
their border greater than your border?
Amos 6:3 Ye that put far away the
evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;
You gonna put the Lord's coming out of
your mind? It ain't gonna happen?
Amos 6:4 That lie upon beds of
ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs
out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;
Gonna live the, G-o-o-d life?
Amos 6:5 That chant to the sound
of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of music,
like David;
Remember, God wont be listening to
their songs.
Amos 6:6 That drink wine in bowls,
and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not
grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
No compassion at all.
Amos 6:7 Therefore now shall they
go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them
that stretched themselves shall be removed.
In the end time, the captivating one,
(Satan), is coming first.
Amos 6:8 The Lord GOD hath sworn
by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the
excellency[1] of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I
deliver up the city with all that is therein.
1
"EXCELLENCY": 1347. ga'own, gaw-ohn'; from H1342; the
same as H1346:--arrogancy, excellency (-lent), majesty,
pomp, pride, proud, swelling
Get a little prideful like Satan and
see what happens.
Amos 6:9 And it shall come to
pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
We may not
mention of the name of the LORD
Amos 6:10 And a man's uncle shall
take him up, and he that burneth[1] him, to bring out the bones out
of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of
the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall
say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make
mention of the name of the LORD.
1
"BURNETH": 5635. caraph, saw-raf'; a prim. root; to
cremate, i.e. to be (near) of kin (such being privileged
to kindle the pyre):--burn.
Today, (2006), it appears some
are trying to remove God from our very vocabulary.
Update 2008.
Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of
the LORD??? ........ Just this year in the state of
Virginia, our State Police Chaplains were told they could not
pray in the name of Jesus.
September, 2008
Source: The Richmond Times-Dispatch:
At least five members of the Virginia State
Police chaplains program have resigned after being told they
must abstain from praying in the name of Jesus or Christ during
department-sanctioned events involving the public.
Concerned about offending people of other
faiths, state police Superintendent W. Steven Flaherty recently
directed the agency's 17 chaplains to begin delivering neutral
or non-denominational prayers at events such as trooper
graduation ceremonies and its annual memorial service for fallen
officers...
Their cause has been taken up by Del. Charles
W. Carrico Sr., R-Grayson, who has contacted the Virginia
Attorney General's Office for counsel and is launching a Web
site -- InJesusNameIPray.com -- in a push to have the decision
overturned.
"It's a separation of Jesus and state, which
offends me greatly," he said. "What we have here is an attack on
the name of Jesus, on the name of Christ. And I'm not going to
sit back and just let it happen."
It stated in
verse 9, "It shall
come to pass". I believe it has.
Amos 6:11 For, behold, the LORD
commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the
little house with clefts.
Amos 6:12 Shall horses run upon
the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have
turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into
hemlock:
Amos 6:13 Ye which rejoice in a
thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own
strength?
It appears that today we think we do it
all, giving God absolutely no credit.
Amos 6:14 But, behold, I will
raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the
God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of
Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.
It appears God has had to chastise His
children, almost continuously.
1 Chr 2:55 And the families
of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the
Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites[1]
that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
1
"KENITES": 7017. Qeyniy, kay-nee'; or Qiyniy
(H1 Chron. 2 : 55), kee-nee'; patron. from H7014;
a Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin:--Kenite.
7014.
Qayin, kah'-yin; the same as H7013 (with a play upon the
affinity to H7069); Kajin, the name of the first child,
also of a place in Pal., and of an Oriental tribe:--Cain,
Kenite (-s).
Grasshoppers, (or locust), fire, and a plumbline
Amos 7:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD
showed unto me; and, behold, he formed
grasshoppers[1] in the beginning of the
shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter
growth after the king's mowings.
1
"GRASSHOPPERS": 1462. gowb, gobe; from H1461; the
locust (from its grubbing as a larve):--grasshopper, X
great.
Read the book of Joel, and Revelations
chapter nine, for a good study on grasshoppers, (locust).
Amos 7:2 And it came to pass,
that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land,
then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall
Jacob arise? for he is small.
Amos 7:3 The LORD repented for
this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
Amos 7:4 Thus hath the Lord GOD
showed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by
fire, and it
devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
2 Pet 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the
same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day
of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2 Pet 3:10 But the day of the
Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens
shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt
with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein
shall be burned up.
Amos 7:5 Then said I, O Lord GOD,
cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is
small.
Amos 7:6 The LORD repented for
this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.
Amos 7:7 Thus he showed me: and,
behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with
a plumbline in his hand.
Amos 7:8 And the LORD said unto
me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A
plumbline. Then said the
Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my
people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
I guess God will have to do something
like this to straighten out His people.
Isa 28:17 Judgment also will I
lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet[1]: and
the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters
shall overflow the hiding place.
1 "PLUMMET":
4949. mishqeleth, mish-keh'-leth'; or mishqoleth, mish-ko'-leth;
fem. of H4948 or H4947; a weight, i.e. a plummet
(with line attached):--plummet.
Isa 28:18 And your covenant
with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell
shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass
through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
Amos 7:9 And the high places
of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be
laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the
sword.
The high places were usually place of
pagan worship.
Num 22:41 And it came to pass
on the morrow, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into
the high places of Baal, that thence he might see the
utmost part of the people.
Amos 7:10 Then Amaziah the priest
of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath
conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land
is not able to bear all his words.
Amos 7:11 For thus Amos saith,
Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led
away captive out of their own land.
1 Ki 12:32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on
the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in
Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel,
sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed
in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.
1 Ki 13:33 After this thing
Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of
the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever
would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests
of the high places.
Amos 7:12 Also Amaziah said unto
Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and
there eat bread, and prophesy there:
The king tells Amos to prophecy no more
Amos 7:13 But prophesy not
again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel,
and it is the king's court.
The truth is a hard pill for some to
swallow.
Amos
replies with words direct from God
Amos 7:14 Then answered Amos,
and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a
prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of
sycamore fruit:
Amos 7:15 And the LORD took me as
I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto
my people Israel.
God can use anyone He so chooses.
Amos 7:16 Now therefore hear thou
the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and
drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
Amos 7:17 Therefore thus saith
the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons
and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be
divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel
shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
We should be more like Amos. Don't let
the big whigs snow you.
Jer 28:14 For thus saith the
LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon
the neck of all these nations, that they may serve
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him:
and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
The end is come
Amos 8:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD
showed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
Amos 8:2 And he said, Amos, what
seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said
the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I
will not again pass by them any more.
It's harvest time. Read Matthew 13,
concerning the parable of the tares. The harvest time is the end
of the world.
Ezek 7:2 Also, thou son of
man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end,
the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
Ezek 7:3 Now is the end come
upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge
thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all
thine abominations.
Jer 24:1 The LORD showed me,
and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the
temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon
had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of
Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths,
from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
Jer 24:2 One basket had very
good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and
the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not
be eaten, they were so bad.
Amos 8:3 And the songs of the
temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there
shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast
them forth with silence.
Going to be a lot of sad singing on
that day.
Amos 5:23 Take thou away from
me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy
viols.
For those who sell a little for a lot
Amos 8:4 Hear this, O ye that
swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
Amos 8:5 Saying, When will the new
moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may
set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great,
and falsifying the balances by deceit?
Selling a little for a lot. They
have ways now to fluff up something to make it look like a lot.
But it's just a lot of air.
Amos 8:6 That we may buy the poor
for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell
the refuse of the wheat?
Rip the shirt right off your back. Most
of our breads are not made from the whole grain of the wheat,
but the junk portion. Bleach it out and make it look good. Make
it white and P-u-r-e looking.
God will never
forget
Amos 8:7 The LORD hath sworn by
the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their
works.
They think they're gonna get away with this? Remember
Psalms 37:20.
Psa 37:20 But the wicked
shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the
fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume
away.
Amos 8:8 Shall not the land
tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and
it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and
drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
Psa 18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the
foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he
was wroth.
Heb 12:26 Whose voice then
shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once
more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
Hag 2:7 And I will shake
all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I
will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
Job 38:13 That it might take
hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken
out of it?
God
will darken the earth in the clear day
Amos 8:9 And it shall come to pass
in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go
down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with
wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall
destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isa 13:10 For the stars
of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their
light: the sun shall be darkened in his going
forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to
shine.
Amos 8:10 And I will turn your
feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I
will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every
head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and
the end thereof as a bitter day.
A famine
for the hearing of the word of God
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come,
saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a
famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of
the LORD:
This prophesy has come about. Where can
one hear the true word of God today? Hardly anywhere.
Ezek 7:26 Mischief shall come
upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour;
then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but
the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the
ancients.
Ezek 5:16 When I shall send
upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for
their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I
will increase the famine upon you, and will break your
staff of bread:
Ezek 5:17 So will I send
upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave
thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I
will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.
Hosea 4:6 My people are
destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected
knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest
to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will
also forget thy children.
Deu 32:24 They shall be
burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with
bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon
them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
Amos 8:12 And they shall wander
from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run
to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find
it.
It appears to be getting worse and
worse today. Today being (2006). It's like we in the U.S.A. are
beyond running to and fro. We're bringing all sorts of religions
into our country. I know this is the land of freedom of
religion, but it appears that other religions don't want
Christians to have any freedom of worship.
Amos 8:13 In that day shall
the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
Jesus talking:
Mat 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven
be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went
forth to meet the bridegroom.
Mat 25:2
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Amos 8:14
They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and
say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba
liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
There's no
escaping God
Amos 9:1 I saw the Lord standing
upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the
posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will
slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall
not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.
Amos 9:2 Though they dig into
hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to
heaven, thence will I bring them down:
Psa 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make
my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Amos 9:3 And though they hide
themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out
thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the
sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
Amos 9:4 And though they go into
captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and
it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and
not for good.
No one can get away from God. If He has
your number, look out.
Amos 9:5 And the Lord GOD of hosts
is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that
dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood;
and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
Micah 1:4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the
valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the
waters that are poured down a steep place.
Amos 9:6 It is he
that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop
in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and
poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is
his name.
Psa 104:10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which
run among the hills.
Psa 104:11 They give drink to
every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
Psa 104:13 He watereth the
hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the
fruit of thy works.
Amos 9:7 Are ye not as
children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the
LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the
Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
God's eyes are on
the sinful kingdoms
Amos 9:8 Behold, the eyes of
the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will
destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not
utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
Look out sinful world. God has His eyes
on you.
Jer 30:11 For I am with thee,
saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all
nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not
make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure,
and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
God will gather Israel from all nations
Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command,
and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like
as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain
fall upon the earth.
God knows His people, and how to gather
them and not let them fall in the end.
Amos 9:10 All the sinners[1] of my
people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not
overtake nor prevent us.
1
"SINNERS": 2400. chatta', khat-taw'; intens. from H2398;
a criminal, or one accounted guilty:--offender, sinful,
sinner.
Remember Psalms 37:20.
Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise
up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches
thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in
the days of old:
That Day is the Day of
the Lord. The one thousand year reign of Christ.
Amos 9:12 That they may possess
the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen[1], which are called by
my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
1
"HEATHEN": 1471. gowy, go'ee; rarely (short.) goy, go'-ee;
appar. from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a
foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (fig.) a troop of
animals, or a flight of locusts:--Gentile, heathen, nation,
people.
Acts 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the
tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build
again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
Acts 15:17 That the residue of
men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom
my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
Amos 9:13 Behold, the days come,
saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the
treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop
sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
There'll be plenty for all in the
eternity.
Lev 26:5 And your threshing
shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto
the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and
dwell in your land safely.
Amos 9:14 And I will bring again
the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the
waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant
vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens,
and eat the fruit of them.
I think we will rebuild this earth. Clean up our mess. See
Isa.61:4.
Isa 61:4 And they shall build
the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and
they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of
many generations.
Home at last
Amos 9:15 And I will plant them
upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their
land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
Finally, Home at last.
1 Chr 17:9 Also I will ordain
a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they
shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more;
neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as
at the beginning,
Jer 24:6 For I will set mine
eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this
land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and
I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to
always,
study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun
profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.
