Joel
An event that is
future even yet today
The Day of the Lord is at
hand
The Day of the Lord is nigh at hand
A great army coming
The earth
shall quake and the heavens tremble
Who can abide?
God is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness
God
promises to destroy that great northern army
God will restore what the locust, (that great army),
has eaten
God will be in the
midst of Israel
After this army appears, God will pour out his spirit upon all flesh
Wonders in the
heavens, and in the earth
All who call
upon God, shall be delivered
In
mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance
All
nations gathered in the valley of Jehoshaphat
The Day of the Lord is near, in the valley of decision
The
Lord shall roar out of Zion
The LORD
dwelleth in Zion
An event that
is future even yet today
Joel 1:1 The word of the LORD that
came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
Joel 1:2 Hear this, ye old men,
and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your
days, or even in the days of your fathers?
This had never been before. Nor has it
yet.
Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of
gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning
spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there
hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it,
even to the years of many generations.
Joel 1:3 Tell ye your children of
it, and let your children tell their children, and
their children another generation.
Pass this on until the very end of
time.
Psa 145:4 One generation shall
praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
Joel 1:4 That which the
palmerworm[1] hath left hath the locust[2] eaten; and that which the
locust hath left hath the cankerworm[3] eaten; and that which the
cankerworm hath left hath the caterpillar[4] eaten.
1
"PALMERWORM": 1501. gazam, gaw-zawm'; from an unused root
mean. to devour; a kind of locust:--palmer-worm.
2
"LOCUST": 697. 'arbeh, ar-beh'; from H7235; a locust
(from its rapid increase):--grasshopper, locust.
3
"CANKERWORM": 3218. yeleq, yeh'-lek; from an unused root
mean. to lick up; a devourer; spec. the young
locust:--cankerworm, caterpillar.
4
"CATERPILLAR": 2625. chaciyl, khaw-seel'; from H2628; the
ravager, i.e. a locust:--caterpillar.
All the insects listed here are locust.
Joel 1:5 Awake, ye drunkards[1],
and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine[2], because of the new
wine[3], for it is cut off from your mouth.
1
"DRUNKARDS": 7910. shikkowr, shik-kore'; or shikkor,
shik-kore'; from H7937; intoxicated, as a state or a
habit:--drunk (-ard, -en, -en man).
2
"WINE": 3196. yayin, yah'-yin; from an unused root mean.
to effervesce; wine (as fermented); by impl.
intoxication:--banqueting, wine, wine [-bibber].
3
"WINE": 6071. 'aciyc, aw-sees'; from H6072; must
or fresh grape-juice (as just trodden out):--juice, new (sweet)
wine.
6072.
'acac, aw-sas'; a prim. root; to squeeze out juice; fig. to
trample:--tread down.
This will come on us faster than grape
juice can ferment into wine.
Joel 1:6 For a nation is come up
upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the
teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
Rev 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their
teeth were as the teeth of lions.
Joel 1:7 He hath laid my vine
waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast
it away; the branches thereof are made white.
Joel 1:8 Lament like a virgin
girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
Jer 6:26 O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and
wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son,
most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come
upon us.
Satan will be the spoiler,
just before the second return of Jesus.
Joel 1:9 The meat offering and the
drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests,
the LORD'S ministers, mourn.
Joel 1:10 The field is wasted, the
land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the
oil languisheth.
Joel 1:11 Be ye ashamed, O ye
husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the
barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
Joel 1:12 The vine is dried up,
and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree
also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field,
are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
All joy will be gone when at the end,
people learn that they fell for the antichrist, (Satan).
Remember this is end time prophecy.
Joel 1:13 Gird yourselves, and
lament[1], ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie
all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat
offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your
God.
1
"LAMENT": 5594. caphad, saw-fad'; a prim. root; prop. to
tear the hair and beat the breasts (as Orientals do in grief);
gen. to lament; by impl. to wail:--lament, mourn (-er), wail.
There'll be lots of wailing going on at
that time. There's one problem. It's too late.
Joel 1:14 Sanctify ye a fast, call
a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants
of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto
the LORD.
We'd better be calling on the True
Lord, before He gets here. What should
we do?
Hosea 14:2 Take with you
words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all
iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the
calves[1] of our lips.
1 "CALVES":
6499. par, par; or par, pawr; from H6565; a bullock (appar.
as breaking forth in wild strength, or perh. as
dividing the hoof):-- (+ young) bull (-ock), calf, ox.
The Day of the Lord
is at hand
Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! for
the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from
the Almighty shall it come.
The day of the Lord is the one thousand
year reign of Christ. It starts at His return.
Joel 1:16 Is not the meat cut off
before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our
God?
When people find they're worshiping the
wrong one, it'll be too late to do anything about it. They're
stuck for at least one thousand years.
Joel 1:17 The seed is rotten under
their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken
down; for the corn is withered.
Joel 1:18 How do the beasts groan!
the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture;
yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
Joel 1:19 O LORD, to thee will I
cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and
the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.
God is a consuming fire.
Heb 12:29 For our God is a
consuming fire.
Joel 1:20 The beasts of the field
cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the
fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
Unlike mankind, all animal life seems
to stay in tune with God. They know when to call on Him.
The Day of the Lord is nigh at hand
Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in
Zion, and sound an alarm[1] in my holy mountain: let all the
inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for
it is nigh at hand;
1
"ALARM": 7321. ruwa', roo-ah'; a prim. root; to mar
(espec. by breaking); fig. to split the ears (with sound), i.e.
shout (for alarm or joy):--blow an alarm, cry (alarm, aloud,
out), destroy, make a joyful noise, smart, shout (for joy),
sound an alarm, triumph.
For some, this day will be joy. For
others, sorrow.
Jer 4:5 Declare ye in Judah,
and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the
land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and
let us go into the defenced cities.
Jer 4:6 Set up the standard
toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the
north, and a great destruction.
A great army coming
Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of
gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning
spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there
hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it,
even to the years of many generations.
When Satan and his angels show up, only those who have the
seal of God in their forehead, (or mind), will overcome his
temptation. See Revelation 9. This
army is prepared for a battle like the flesh world has never
known.
Mark 13:19 (Jesus talking).
For in those days shall be affliction,
such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God
created unto this time, neither shall be.
Joel 2:3 A fire devoureth before
them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the
garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;
yea, and nothing shall escape them.
This is going to be a war of the mind.
Remember the Bible is full of symbology.
Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken
by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used
similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.
Psa 144:12 That our sons may
be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be
as corner stones, polished after the similitude of
a palace:
Who is Satan after? See
Revelation 12:17.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was
wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of
her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.
Joel 2:4 The appearance of them
is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they
run.
Rev 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses
prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns
like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
Joel 2:5 Like the noise of
chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of
a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set
in battle array.
You ever hear the sound of a mighty
fire crackling as it burns. Just as God is a consuming fire,
Satan and his angels will be trying to consume us spiritually.
Joel 2:6 Before their face the
people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
That pained look on their faces will
not show up until, Satan has been exposed by the return of the
Real Jesus.
Joel 2:7 They shall run like
mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they
shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their
ranks:
They've had lots and lots of time to
prepare for this. They're supernatural. The flesh can't stand
against them, without having the seal, (or knowledge), of God's
plan, in their forehead, (or mind).
Joel 2:8 Neither shall one thrust
another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they
fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
Again, well trained. They have it
together.
Joel 2:9 They shall run to and
fro[1] in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb
up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a
thief.
1
"FRO": 8264. shaqaq, shaw-kak'; a prim. root; to course
(like a beast of prey); by impl. to seek greedily:--have
appetite, justle one against another, long, range, run (to and
fro).
They'll be coming right into our
houses. Through the air waves, (television & radio), no doubt.
The greatest religious event in world history.
Jer 9:21 For death is
come up into our windows, and is entered into our
palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men
from the streets.
The
earth shall quake and the heavens tremble
Joel 2:10 The earth shall quake
before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon
shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
Satan will produce a false darkness.
Trying to imitate the coming of Christ. Remember he knows the
scriptures to. Much better than we do.
Who can abide?
Joel 2:11 And the LORD shall utter
his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for
he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD
is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
God controls all, even Satan's army
also. All things must conform to God's plan. Who will be able
to abide? Those with understanding and those instructed by
them with understanding.
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy
way, Daniel: for the words are closed
up and sealed till the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be
purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do
wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the
wise shall understand.
Dan 11:32 And such as do
wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries:
but the people that do know their God shall be strong,
and do exploits.
Dan 11:33 And they that
understand among the people shall instruct many: yet
they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by
spoil, many days.
Dan 11:34 Now when they shall
fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall
cleave to them with flatteries.
Dan 11:35 And some of them
of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and
to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is
yet for a time appointed.
Joel 2:12 Therefore also now,
saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and
with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
What should we do?
Hosea 14:2 Take with you
words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all
iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the
calves[1] of our lips.
1 "CALVES":
6499. par, par; or par, pawr; from H6565; a bullock (appar.
as breaking forth in wild strength, or perh. as
dividing the hoof):-- (+ young) bull (-ock), calf, ox.
God is gracious, merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness
Joel 2:13 And rend your heart, and
not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is
gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil.
God is full of kindness, and is willing to forgive, right up
to the very end. Don't ever feel that it's too late for you. See
Revelation 18:4, where at the very
end God is calling to His people.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another
voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye
be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her
plagues.
Joel 2:14 Who knoweth if he
will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even
a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
Joel 2:15 Blow the trumpet in
Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
Joel 2:16 Gather the people,
sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children,
and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his
chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
Jesus is coming for a bride. Make sure
you remain a virgin, spiritually.
Joel 2:17 Let the priests, the
ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let
them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to
reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should
they say among the people, Where is their God?
Where is their God? See 2 Pet 3:4.
2 Pet 3:4 And saying, Where
is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell
asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of
the creation.
Joel 2:18 Then will the LORD be
jealous for his land, and pity his people.
Joel 2:19 Yea, the LORD will
answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and
wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no
more make you a reproach among the heathen:
God
promises to destroy that great northern army
Joel 2:20 But I will remove far
off from you the northern army, and will drive him
into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea,
and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come
up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great
things.
The northern army is Russia. This makes
reference to the battle of Armageddon.
Joel 2:21 Fear not, O land; be
glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
Joel 2:22 Be not afraid, ye beasts
of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the
tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their
strength.
Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye
children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath
given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come
down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the
first month.
God will take care of His people.
Isa 41:17 When the poor and
needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue
faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the
God of Israel will not forsake them.
Isa 41:18 I will open
rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the
valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and
the dry land springs of water.
Joel 2:24 And the floors shall be
full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
God will restore what the locust, (that great army), has eaten
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to
you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and
the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I
sent among you.
Joel 2:26 And ye shall eat in
plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God,
that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be
ashamed.
The famine for the end time is for the
hearing of the word of God. But those who are loyal to the True
Jesus through all this will be fed, (spiritually).
God
will be in the midst of Israel
Joel 2:27 And ye shall know that
I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am
the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be
ashamed.
After this army appears, God
will pour out his spirit upon all flesh
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to
pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all
flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy[1], your old
men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
1
"PROPHESY": 5012. naba', naw-baw'; a prim. root; to
prophesy, i.e. speak (or sing) by inspiration (in prediction
or simple discourse):--prophesy (-ing) make self a prophet.
When will God do this? Just after the
locust army is here. Lots of so called preachers of today have a
hard time with women having a role like this. Ever wonder why
God doesn't usually talk directly to some or most people. Read
the following. Miriam and Aaron had just complained to Moses.
Num 12:4 And the LORD spake
suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out
ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three
came out.
Num 12:5 And the LORD came
down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the
tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came
forth.
Num 12:6 And he said, Hear now
my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make
myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a
dream.
Num 12:7 My servant Moses is
not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
Num 12:8 With him will I speak
mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and
the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were
ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Num 12:9 And the anger of the
LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall
lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye
shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be
given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that
speak, but the Holy Ghost.
Joel 2:29 And also upon the
servants and upon the handmaids[1] in those days will I pour out my
spirit.
1
"HANDMAIDS": 8198. shiphchah, shif-khaw'; fem. from an
unused root mean. to spread out (as a family; see H4940); a
female slave (as a member of the household):--(bond-, hand-)
maid (-en, -servant), wench, bondwoman, womanservant.
What days? The days just before the
end. While Satan and his angels are here. This has happened
before.
Num 11:25 And the LORD came
down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that
was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came
to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they
prophesied, and did not cease.
Wonders
in the heavens, and in the earth
Joel 2:30 And I will show
wonders[1] in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and
pillars[2] of smoke.
1
"WONDERS": 4159. mowpheth, mo-faith'; or mopheth,
mo-faith'; from H3302 in the sense of conspicuousness; a
miracle; by impl. a token or omen:--miracle, sign, wonder (-ed
at).
2
"PILLARS": 8490. tiymarah, tee-maw-raw'; or timarah,
tee-maw-raw'; from the same as H8558; a column, i.e.
cloud:--pillar.
Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned
into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and
the terrible day of the LORD come.
Moon turned to blood? Joel is definitely talking of the end
time, the final generation era. What has happened concerning the
moon and blood in this time frame? On July 21st. 1969, Men
from the earth, (United States), landed on the moon for the
first time. Blood, Adamic blood, was on the moon. I'm not
saying for sure that this was the fulfillment of that prophecy.
But, it sure gives one something to think about. Look at
Genesis 1:28 and the Strong's meaning
of the word air. Also look at the meaning of the word
Adam.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them,
and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air[1],
and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
1 "AIR": 8064. shamayim,
shaw-mah'-yim; dual of an unused sing. shameh, shaw-meh';
from an unused root mean. to be lofty; the sky (as
aloft; the dual perh. alluding to the visible arch in which
the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether
where the celestial bodies revolve):--air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).
Adam:
120. 'adam, aw-dawm'; from H119; ruddy, i.e. a
human being (an individual or the species, mankind,
etc.):--X another, + hypocrite, + common sort, X low, man
(mean, of low degree), person.
119. 'adam,
aw-dam'; to show blood in the face), i.e. flush or turn rosy:--be (dyed, made)
red (ruddy).
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of
the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay
the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out
of it.
Isa 13:10 For the stars
of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their
light: the sun shall be darkened in his going
forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to
shine.
All who
call upon God, shall be delivered
In mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD
shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall
be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom
the LORD shall call[1].
1
"CALL": 7121. qara', kaw-raw'; a prim. root [rather ident.
with H7122 through the idea of accosting a person met]; to
call out to (i.e. prop. address by name, but used in a wide
variety of applications):--bewray [self], that are bidden,
call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest,
invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim (-ation),
pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.
Jesus will return to Mount Zion. This
is at the end of the flesh age.
Acts 2:16 But this is that
which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to
pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit
upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams:
Acts 2:18 And on my servants
and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my
Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts 2:19 And I will show
wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood,
and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Acts 2:20 The sun shall be
turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great
and notable day of the Lord come:
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
Oba 1:17 But upon mount
Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and
the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
Joel 3:1 For, behold, in those
days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of
Judah and Jerusalem,
Some or maybe most of God's people will
be held captive by Satan and his angels in Mystery Babylon.
Jer 30:3 For, lo, the days
come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of
my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause
them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and
they shall possess it.
All nations gathered in the valley of Jehoshaphat
Joel 3:2 I will also gather all
nations, and will bring them down into the valley of
Jehoshaphat[1], and will plead with them there for my people and
for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the
nations, and parted my land.
1
"JEHOSHAPHAT": 3092. Yehowshaphat, yeh-ho-shaw-fawt';
from H3068 and H8199; Jehovah-judged; Jehoshaphat, the
name of six Isr.; also of a valley near Jerus.:--Jehoshaphat.
Comp. H3146.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem
to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled,
and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into
captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off
from the city.
Joel 3:3 And they have cast
lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold
a girl for wine, that they might drink.
Oba 1:11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the
day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and
foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon
Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.
Joel 3:4 Yea, and what have ye to
do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will
ye render me a recompense? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and
speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head;
Joel 3:5 Because ye have taken
my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my
goodly pleasant things:
Dan 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of
Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and
besieged it.
Dan 1:2 And the Lord gave
Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the
vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of

that the day of the Lord, (or the return of Jesus), happens at
the time of the battle of Armageddon.

Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to
always,
study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun
profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.
