The Bruisers
to listen When we, or at least I,
think of a bruiser, I think of a very strong and powerful
person. One who no one else wants to tangle with. I looked up
that word in Webster's dictionary. It stated, "A strong
pugnacious man". So then I looked up the word pugnacious. It
stated, "Eager and ready to fight". I guess my thinking
wasn't too far off. Think maybe the Bible may have something to
say about those kind of people? Sure enough, right up front it's
there and throughout God's Word.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the
woman, and between thy seed and her seed;[1] it shall bruise thy head,
and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Here is the first prophesy
of Jesus Christ. How Satan would bruise his heels, (nailed on
the cross), and that Jesus will bruise his head. Meaning Satan
will be destroyed. See Ezekiel 28:9 and Ezekiel 28:18 where God is going
to destroy Satan. This proves to me that God and Jesus are the
same. Note the Hebrew meaning of the word seed.
[1] "SEED": 2233. zera', zeh'-rah; from H2232;
seed; fig. fruit, plant, sowing-time, posterity:-- X
carnally, child, fruitful, seed (-time), sowing-time.
We are
definitely talking about child bearing. Now what really happened
between the serpent and Eve? In Isaiah 53:5 is another prophecy
of Jesus being bruised.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for
our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are
healed.
Let's back up to Genesis
2:1. It may shed some light on why we're here. God had just
created some of mankind on the sixth day in chapter one. For
what?
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the
earth were finished, and all the host[1] of them.
Read carefully and
completely the meaning of the word host.
[1] "HOST": 6635. tsaba', tsaw-baw'; or
(fem.) tseba'ah, tseb-aw-aw'; from H6633; a mass of
persons (or fig. things), espec. reg. organized for war
(an army); by impl. a campaign, lit. or fig. (spec.
hardship, worship):--appointed time, (+) army, (+) battle,
company, host, service, soldiers, waiting upon, war (-fare).
6633. tsaba', tsaw-baw'; a prim. root; to mass (an army
or servants):--assemble, fight, perform, muster, wait upon, war.
What does the Bible tells us to do to prepare
for war?
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour
of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye
may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to
stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of
peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all[1] the fiery darts of the
wicked[2].
1
"ALL": 3956. pas, pas; includ. all the forms of
declension; appar. a prim. word; all, any, every,
the whole:--all (manner of, means) alway (-s), any
(one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many
as, + no (-thing), X throughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.
2
"WICKED": 4190. poneros, pon-ay-ros'; from a der.
of G4192; hurtful, i.e. evil (prop. in effect or influence, and
thus differing from G2556, which refers rather to essential
character, as well as from G4550, which indicates degeneracy
from original virtue); fig. calamitous; also (pass.) ill, i.e.
diseased; but espec. (mor.) culpable, i.e. derelict, vicious,
facinorous; neut. (sing.) mischief, malice, or (plur.) guilt;
masc. (sing.) the devil, or (plur.) sinners:--bad,
evil, grievous, harm, lewd, malicious, wicked (-ness). See also
G4191.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of
salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Sound like we're on some
kind of picnic? It's more serious than that.
The next five verses is
proof of the bruising of Jesus' hands and feet.
Doubting Thomas.
John 20:25 The other disciples
therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto
them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails,
and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my
hand into his side, I will not believe.
John 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and
Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood
in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach
hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand,
and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
Luke 24:39 Behold my
hands and my
feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and
see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Luke 24:40 And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and
his feet.
Now for some future
bruising.
Rom 16:20 And the God of peace
shall bruise[1] Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
[1] "BRUISE": 4937.
suntribo, soon-tree'-bo; from G4862 and the base of G5147; to
crush completely, i.e. to shatter (lit. or fig.):--break (in
pieces), broken to shivers (+ -hearted), bruise.
Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of
their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king
of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand
up.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:
and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and
practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper
in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace
shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of
princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
No one, not even Satan, can stand up to
Jesus Christ. What a day that will be!
Luke 12:49 I am come to send fire on the
earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Who does Jesus expect to be
lighting and kindling the fire before He appears?
Psa 104:4 Who maketh his angels
spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
Jer 51:1 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against
Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise
up against me, a destroying wind;
Jer 51:2 And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall
fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble
they shall be against her round about.
Fanning that flame? Yeah,
just one of many jobs for the Bruisers.
Rev 18:1 And after these things I
saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the
earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon
the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of
devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every
unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication
with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the
abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of
her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye
receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath
remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her
double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill
to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously,
so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I
sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and
mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for
strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
It will be our job to warn
people to come out of that system. Satan's system.
(Dan 11:30) For the ships of
Chittim[1] shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved[2],
and return, and have indignation[3] against the holy covenant: so
shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them
that forsake the holy covenant.
1 "CHITTIM": Smith's bible
dictionary, (bruisers)
2 "GRIEVED": 3512. ka'ah, kaw-aw'; a prim. root; to despond:
causat. to deject:--broken, be grieved, make sad.
3 "INDIGNATION": 2194. za'am, zaw-am'; a prim. root; prop. to
foam at the mouth, i.e. to be enraged:--abhor,
abominable, (be) angry, defy, (have) indignation.
Think Satan isn't going to be mad?
Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on
his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and
shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the
abomination that maketh desolate.
Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he
corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall
be strong[1], and do exploits.
[1] "STRONG": 2388.
chazaq, khaw-zak'; a prim. root; to fasten upon; hence to seize,
be strong (fig. courageous, causat. strengthen, cure,
help, repair, fortify), obstinate; to bind, restrain,
conquer:--aid, amend, X calker, catch, cleave, confirm, be
constant, constrain, continue, be of good (take) courage (-ous,
-ly), encourage (self), be established, fasten, force, fortify,
make hard, harden, help, (lay) hold (fast), lean, maintain, play
the man, mend, become (wax) mighty, prevail, be
recovered, repair, retain, seize, be (wax) sore, strengten
(self), be stout, be (make, shew, wax) strong (-er), be sure,
take (hold), be urgent, behave self valiantly,
withstand.
At that time, the valiant of God, will stand face to face with Satan. What will they be doing?
Dan 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct
many: yet they shall fall[1] by the sword, and by flame, by captivity,
and by spoil, many days.
[1] "fall": 3782.
kashal, kaw-shal'; a prim. root; to totter or waver
(through weakness of the legs, espec. the ankle); by impl. to
falter, stumble, faint or fall:--bereave [from the marg.], cast
down, be decayed, (cause to) fail, (cause, make to) fall (down,
-ing), feeble, be (the) ruin (-ed, of), (be) overthrown, (cause
to) stumble, X utterly, be weak.
Gonna be a tough time. When will these people,
(the bruisers),
instruct many?
Mark
13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the
synagogues[1] ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought
before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against
them.
Remember
pugnacious? From the first paragraph? Someone who is
"Eager and ready to fight".
[1]
"SYNAGOGUES": 4864. sunagoge, soon-ag-o-gay'; from (the
redupl. form of) G4863; an assemblage of persons; spec. a Jewish
"synagogue" (the meeting or the place); by anal. a Christian
church:--assembly, congregation, synagogue.
These people, (the bruisers),
will be brought right into the Christian churches. So called
Christian churches. For what? To tell the good news. That's what
the gospel is you know. There'll be some verbal bruising
going on.
"GOSPEL": 2098.
euaggelion, yoo-ang-ghel'-ee-on; from the same as G2097;
a good message, i.e. the gospel:--gospel.
2097. euaggelizo, yoo-ang-ghel-id'-zo ); from G2095
and G32; to announce good news ("evangelize")
espec. the gospel:--declare, bring (declare, show) glad
(good) tidings, preach (the gospel).
Mark 13:10
And the gospel must first be
published among all nations.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you,
and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall
speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given
you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak,
but the Holy Ghost. Dan 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a
little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
Where will the help come
from? The Holy Spirit. Sounds rough but don't worry, they
can't harm you. Luke chapter 21 gives proof of that. Again, Jesus
talking and about the same event.
Luke 21:17
And ye shall be hated of all men for my
name's sake. Luke
21:18 But there shall not an hair of
your head perish.
Luke 21:19 In your
patience possess ye your souls.
Let's get another couple verses from Mark 13
and Matthew 24.
Mark 13:20 And except that
the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but
for the elect's[1] sake, whom he hath
chosen, he hath shortened the days.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the
very elect.
Who is this very elect? I believe them to be
the Bruisers.
[1] "ELECT": 1588. eklektos, ek-lek-tos';
from G1586; select; by impl. favorite:--chosen, elect.
In modern day military terms, I guess we'd call the
Bruisers, Special Forces. Throughout time God has always had
some chosen remnant to do certain jobs. Our Special Forces
are trained beyond normal requirement levels. They're real
bruisers and always "Eager and ready to fight".
God will have the same type forces at this time.
Dan 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them,
and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end:
because it is yet for a time appointed.
Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall
exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till
the indignation[1] be accomplished: for that that is determined shall
be done.
[1] "INDIGNATION": 2195. za'am, zah'-am;
from H2194; strictly froth at the mouth, i.e. (fig.) fury
(espec. of God's displeasure with sin):--angry, indignation,
rage.
2194. za'am, zaw-am'; a prim. root; prop. to foam at the
mouth, i.e. to be enraged:--abhor, abominable, (be) angry, defy,
(have) indignation.
See Revelation 4:11 where God made all things for His pleasure
and here ole king Satan's bringing Him displeasure.
Jer 51:19 The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the
former of all things: and Israel is the rod[1] of his inheritance: the
LORD of hosts is his name.
[1] "ROD": 7626. shebet,
shay'-bet; from an unused root prob. mean. to branch off, a
scion, i.e. (lit.) a stick (for punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, etc.) or (fig.) a clan:-- X
correction, dart, rod, sceptre, staff, tribe.
Jacob's name changed to Israel.
Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more
Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God
and with men, and hast prevailed.
Jacob, (or Israel), had twelve sons. Note in Jeremiah 51:19
the word Israel is in italics, meaning it wasn't in the original
text. So the original read like this. The portion of Jacob
is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and is the rod of his inheritance: the
LORD of hosts is his name.
Note the meaning of the word rod. A stick for punishing or
fighting? I guess one could say there'd be bruising.
Jer 51:20 Thou art my battle ax and weapons of war: for
with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee
will I destroy kingdoms;
Jer 51:21 And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and
his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot
and his rider;
Jer 51:22 With thee also will I break in pieces man and
woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young;
and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the
maid;
Jer 51:23 I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd
and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the
husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break
in pieces captains and rulers.
The with thee above,
is not Jesus. Jesus will sit at the right hand of the Father
until His enemies are made His footstool. Just as Jesus is not
coming until His enemies are made His footstool,
God's people are not going anywhere until they
have done their job.
Psa 110:1 A Psalm of David. The
LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool.
Mat 22:44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
How long is Jesus going to sit there?
Until!
How's God going to use us,
(his people), at that time.
Zec 9:13 When I have bent Judah
for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion,
against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty
man.
Zec 9:14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall
go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet,
and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
Zec 9:15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour,
and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise
as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the
corners of the altar.
Zec 9:16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the
flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown,
lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
What is the main objective?
The bruising of Satan.
Ezek 28:1 The word of the LORD
came again unto me, saying,
Ezek 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am
a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou
art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of
God:
Ezek 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret
that they can hide from thee:
Satan's very smart. Has
lot's of wisdom.
Ezek 28:4 With thy wisdom and with
thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten
gold and silver into thy treasures:
He's very materialistic!
Ezek 28:5 By thy great wisdom and
by thy traffic[1] hast thou increased thy riches, and thine
heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
Note he doesn't have just
wisdom but Great wisdom. Look at the meaning of the
word traffic.
[1] "TRAFFIC": 7404. rekullah, rek-ool-law'; fem. pass. part. of H7402;
trade (as peddled):--merchandise, traffic.
Economy. That's one of the things Satan's really good at.
Ezek 28:6 Therefore thus saith the
Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
He really thinks a lot of
himself.
Ezek 28:7 Behold, therefore I will
bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they
shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they
shall defile thy brightness.
Ezek 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou
shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the
seas.
I want to insert some
other verses here.
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in
thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above
the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north:
The sides of the North is
God's place. See Psa 48:2. Here Satan claims he will sit
in God's place. See 2Th 2:4 where Satan will sit there
just before the 2nd. coming of Christ.
Psalms 48:2 Beautiful for situation, the
joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the
north, the city of the great King.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto
him, 2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from
us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for
that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he
is God. Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the
heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the
sides of
the pit.
Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and
consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to
tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the
cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Now back to Ezekiel 28.
From here to the end of Ezekiel 28, four verses contain
statements of Satan's destruction.
Ezek 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that
slayeth thee, I
am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that
slayeth thee.
Slayeth thee? Now that's
some real bruising.
Ezek 28:10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the
hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
Shall die? That's what it
said.
Ezek 28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ezek 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus,
and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum,
full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Ezek 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious
stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the
beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the
carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes
was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Ezek 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have
set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast
walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezek 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast
created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Ezek 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the
midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will
cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy
thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezek 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou
hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast
thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may
behold thee.
This next verse is a
prophecy of Satan coming to his end. His final bruising.
Wonder if we'll be fanning that flame?
Ezek 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of
thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I
bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and
I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them
that behold thee.
Zec 12:6 In that day will I make the
governors[1] of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood,
and like a torch of fire in a sheaf[2]; and they shall devour
all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and
Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in
Jerusalem.
[1] "GOVERNORS": 441. 'alluwph,
al-loof'; or (short.) 'alluph, al-loof'; from H502; familiar; a friend, also gentle; hence a bullock (as being tame;
applied, although masc., to a cow); and so a chieftain (as
notable like neat cattle):--captain, duke, (chief) friend,
governor, guide, ox. [2] "SHEAF": 5995. 'amiyr, aw-meer'; from H6014;
a bunch
of grain:--handful, sheaf.
In my own words, "In That Day, God will make a
friend of
Judah to be as fire on a hearth burning wood, and as a torch burning
a little dried up bunch of grain." Lots of
bruising going on here.
Zec 12:7 The LORD also shall
save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of
David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify
themselves against Judah.
Who is a friend to Judah, (the little nation we call Israel
today)? The Good Ole U.S.A. Think of the current situation in
the Middle East. This year 2007. Other than God, where will their help come from? Not only is the United States a friend to Judah,
(Israel), we're brothers. Judah is just one of the sons of Jacob,
(Israel). When push comes to shove, family will take care of
family. Judah has eleven brothers, which I believe to be a big
part of the Christian nations of today and they'll be eager
and ready to fight. Remember the very first paragraph?
Webster's meaning of the words bruiser and pugnacious?
Before the seventh trump sounds, and the coming of Christ, there
appears to be a pause.
Rev 10:7 But in the days of the
voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to
sound,
the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his
servants the prophets.
The word when can
mean until. The word sound is actually trumpet. Be sure
to look up the words voice, when, begin, and sound, in Strong's
dictionary. The seventh trumpet doesn't sound until Revelation
11:15. Between the 6th and 7th trumpets there's a lot of bruising going on. The Two Witnesses.
Rev 11:3 And I will give power
unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth.
Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their
mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them,
he must in this manner be killed.
Bruising........................
Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the
days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to
blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they
will.
More
bruising..................
Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the
beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war
against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Lot's of bruising by those
two witnesses. Note, Satan can't hurt them until they have
finished their work for God, Who's in complete control.
Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies
shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is
called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations
shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not
suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over
them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because
these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from
God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great
fear fell upon them which saw them.
Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them,
Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their
enemies beheld them.
Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the
tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men
seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to
the God of heaven.
More bruising......
Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh
quickly.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices
in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the
kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever
and ever.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of
fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and
shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all
liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire
and brimstone: which is the second death.
As you can see from the
above verse, Satan isn't the only one who gets a bruising.
In Genesis 3:15, it was
prophesied that Satan would bruise the heel of Christ. Here in
Revelation 20:10, Satan gets his final bruising. As it was prophesied
in Genesis 3:15. All I can say is, Paybacks are Hell.
Bruisers. Think
you might belong to that Special Forces
Group? If this Bible study's held your
attention to this point, You just might.
Thanks, for allowing
me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto
God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness.
In His Word,
