Evolution or Creation?
Click here to listen Which is it, evolution, or creation? My honest
opinion is, that all of us know the truth about it. On the evolution side we have
lots of people, it appears to me, scrambling, trying to find the missing link. Well,
it's still missing. What has prompted me to write this was a television show I
watched this fall, 2005. It had this young man
by the name of Eugene Dubois. He was on a
quest to find the missing link. Well he found something. I think they call it the
Java man. I think this took place in the 1890's some where in Java. People are so
easily fooled. Think about the Y 2 K farce. We, as a people are so gullible. I think
we just want to believe everybody. I guess the, I don't want to call it a
documentary, maybe commentary, movie portrayed what the man actually did, I am going
to assume so. What sticks in my my about what he did with his discovery was: He was
holding it, (a piece of a skull), in his hands, looking it all over, he was really
amazed with it. Then, he picked up a piece of paper and a pencil. With the paper and
pencil he then created a drawing of his thoughts. That's all he did. Didn't
prove a thing. He used creation to try to prove evolution. The people
who promote evolution are very creative people. They have creative
minds. We all have thoughts, that I'm sure, if were expressed in picture form, using
a piece of paper and pencil, or in today's world, computer graphics, would range
from what we would consider normal to bizarre. I haven't done any research to try to
prove or disprove evolution. Most all my research is Biblical Research. Sometimes
not finding something, proves more, than finding something. I can't find anything in
the Bible that gives any indication of evolution at all. But of course, I forgot,
I've been reading that book. What is it again? Oh Yeah, the B-I-B-L-E. Yeah that's
what it is, the Bible. Man creates things all the time. We have coffee pots, light
bulbs, etc. Man even created the pencil and paper ole Dubois used to make his little
sketch. I'll give him credit for one thing. He was, a good artist.
I believe I know a group of people who, in
my opinion, could prove more against evolution, than the ones who are trying to
prove it. Talk to a Coal Miner some time. They go under ground sometimes a
mile or more. There, each and every day, they see rocks that no other people have
ever seen. In those rocks have been found, fossils. Fossils of animals, fish, birds,
leaves, and all kinds of things, that have been around millions of years. You know
what they tell me? They look just like the things we see on the surface of the earth
today. I've
done a little creating myself. I've had to solve a lot of problems, usually ones I
got myself into. Most every problem that I have solved, or something inventive that
I came up with, came to me, in my sleep. I would wake up with this picture in my
mind, so vivid, better than anything you could put down on a piece of paper with a
pencil, and when I receive an answer while awake, it comes so quickly, that I
know beyond a show of a doubt, that it's not me. Our bodies need rest. Our minds don't. I think, while we are at rest,
(asleep), our minds, (the real us, the inward man, or woman), while waiting on the
flesh to recoup, sometimes communicates with our Creator. Our mind, is our bodies'
control center. If you were the Creator, would you not go right to the top. He's not
too interested in our flesh anyway. Like time, it's temporary. The real you and me,
(the inward person), that's where God's interest lies.
Let me tell you about another television
program I watched back in 1977. Someone was interviewing a scientist. I can't
remember his name, but he was the man who came up with the laser technology. He had
laser technology for medical, weapons, and most anything else. He had this twenty
years earlier. He had notified the Pentagon, and told them, that he had the ultimate
weapon system. The Pentagon officials kept his records. The amazing thing to
me, was how he came up with it. He stated that it all came to him on a Friday
afternoon, and that he spent the whole weekend, writing it down. I ask you, where did
that technology come from. Sure the Scientist wrote it down. At this time I want to
insert some verses from the Holy Bible, just to demonstrate how God had others to
write for him. It appears to me, that God Himself, doesn't like to write too much.
He has, and will again, and I will point that out. You may not want to read all the
verses below. It is just some of the places in the Bible, Where God, or Jesus, has
told people to write something.
Exo 17:14 And the LORD said
unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of
Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
Exo 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write
thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee
and with Israel. Deu
11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy
gates: Deu 17:18 And it
shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him
a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
Deu 31:19 Now therefore write ye this song
for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may
be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
Isa 8:1 Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee
a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
Jer 30:2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel,
saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
Ezek 24:2 Son of man, write thee the name
of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem
this same day. Hab 2:2
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon
tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha
and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and
send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and
unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto
Laodicea. Rev 1:19
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which
are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Rev 2:1
Unto the angel
of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in
his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
Rev 2:8
And unto the
angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was
dead, and is alive;
Rev 2:12
And to the
angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with
two edges;
Rev 2:18
And unto the
angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes
like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Rev 3:1
And unto the
angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God,
and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art
dead.
Rev 3:7
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he
that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no
man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
Rev 3:14
And unto the
angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and
true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying
unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea,
saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write,
Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith
unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are
true and faithful.
The scientist I talked
about earlier, and many many more, that experience these things, I believe they
would tell you, that they were compelled to write things down.
Now for some scriptures where God Himself
has written, and will write again.
Deu 10:1 At that time the LORD
said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into
the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
Deu 10:2 And [I will write] on the tables the
words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the
ark. Dan 5:5 In the same
hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and [wrote] over against the candlestick
upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand
that wrote. Rev 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God,
and he shall go no more out: and [I will write] upon him the name of my God, and
the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven
from my God: and [I will write] upon him my new name.
One thing the evolutionist claim is that
the earth has been around a long long time. Some Christians on the other hand claim
the earth is only six or seven thousand years old. Personally, I think the earth is
so old, probably older than even science can approximate. I would rather believe
that the earth, and all that we see around us, has been, for a long long time. The
longer the better. We have a saying, The Test of Time. How much more secure,
it makes me feel, to believe in a God that has been around for ever, and that His
creation has also.. I know where flesh is going. Back to the dust. I know where the
real me is going too.
Will the earth one day be ruled by a
species that somehow evolved to a higher level than man? Call it what you want.
We're just going back to where we came from. A spiritual body that has been around,
since God created all the souls. Oh Yeah, He created them too.
While the evolutionist keep trying to find the
missing link, bringing forth this and that theory, this and that item, that proves
nothing. Making all kinds of statements and claims, rambling on and on and on. Let's
see just what the bible says.
The Bible, (our set of instructions from God),
says more about evolution than we think. By saying nothing about it, says a lot.
Only man goes on and on and on. Some
people can discover something or create something, and they never stop talking about
it. Some people, even when they are wrong, they're right. Haven't you met people
like that? I like science. There is no disagreement between true science, and the
Bible. While some ramble on, like I'm doing now, The Bible makes plain and simple
statements. Positive statements. Like a Real Creator would. No brag just fact.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God
created the heaven and the earth.
See what I mean. Plain
and simple statement. Didn't say when, didn't say how, just that he did it.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there
be light: and there was light.
Again, simple statement.
Straight, and to the point. No rambling on.
Gen 1:7 And God made the
firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which
were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth
grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose
seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the
firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and
for seasons, and for days, and years:
Gen 1:15 And let them be for lights in the
firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen 1:16 And God made two great lights; the
greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars
also. Gen 1:21 And God
created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought
forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw
that it was good. Gen
1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle,
and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after
his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
He liked it. When you
create a little something, don't you, l-i-k-e it?
Oh! boy, here we come with another, simply put statement. The one so many seem to
be up in arms about.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us
make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of
the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in
the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made,
and, behold, it was very good.
God seemed to like it.
Why can't we? Don't you just love
someone who makes plain and simple, yet positive statements. No one has been able to
prove otherwise. It seems to me that no one has a problem with these plain and
simple statements made from Gen 1:1 through Gen 1:16. But boy, the rest of the
chapter. I
want to add one more verse.
Psa 139:14 I will praise thee;
for I am fearfully and [wonderfully made]: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul
knoweth right well.
There are many writings
in the Bible that prove the stability of God and His creation. But, one has
to believe in the Bible, for it to make a difference in his or her life. What the
science field does know, is that the laws of physics, math, geometry, trigonometry,
genetics, DNA etc, are so precise, it leaves no room for such non sense, as something as
happenstance, as evolution. As you can probably tell, I don't believe in
evolution. I believe the Bible, and like it says in the above verse, I am
wonderfully made. Those who believe in evolution are wonderfully made to.
We all get a little misguided some times. After all, it's a matter of belief. Wars
are fought over beliefs. Whether one believes in evolution or not, is hardly worth
going to war over. Just makes for interesting conversation. So does two dogs and a
cat, to a pet lover. Whether an evolutionist or not, one would have to agree, that
not only the human body, but all flesh bodies are wonderful. Furthermore, that
animals, birds, dinosaurs of the past, and humans, have lots of similar operating
parts, eyes, lungs, ball and socket joints, etc, doesn't prove that we humans
evolved from some lower primate. What it does prove, to me, is that we were all
designed, by the same entity. If there was a link, it would not be missing. It would
be so obvious. We would be able to look around, and see all the stages of the
evolutionary process, which we don't. Where is all the evidence? Maybe someone
buried it 4,000 miles under ground, (the center of the earth). Just so no one could
find it. Evolution, is about as logical, as that statement. I want to enclose a quotation made by a well
known person of the science field.
"Evolution is a fairy tale
for grownups." Dr. Louis Bounoure, Director of the Zoological Museum and Director of
Research at the National Center of Scientific Research in France, J. Rostand, "LaMonde
et la Vie," October 1963, p. 31 from V. Long, "Evolution: A Fairy Tale for Adults,"
Homiletic and Pastoral Review, Vol 78 (1978), no. 7, pp. 27-32
God has said, very simply, yet very positive,
that He, (not Him with the help of others, or something like that), that
He
created all things. People, in the flesh just like you and I, whom have been in His
presence, have given written testimony to His creation. People like Moses,
Habakkuk, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Jesus Christ, John the Revelator, and many many more. We
have just covered a mi-nute portion of it in this study. Those people were both eye
and ear witness to the fact. They believed it so much that they wrote it down. You know
I mentioned earlier something about the test of time. Well, their writings, the
Word of God, has stood the test of time. Written testimony. It should stand in any
court, in any land. Just because these people are no longer with us, doesn't mean, they
all lied. The fact of the matter is, when you consider all the persons who penned, the
Word of God, and that they all, had the same type experience, God dealing with each of
them in the same manner, to me shows the consistency of it all. And would they all
be lying? I tend to think, it's because of the narrow mindedness of lots of Christians,
that have allowed this doctrine, (evolution), to evolve. Evolution is the only thing
that has ever evolved. I think it has just about reached it final stage of evolvement.
My thoughts on why
some believe in evolution:
Dan 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to
the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge
shall be increased.
2 Tim 3:7 Ever learning,
and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
An accumulated increase of knowledge in mankind over time:
I think one of the reasons for some to believe in evolution
is because mankind has an accumulation of knowledge that he's
passed on from generation to generation. The first automobile
certainly doesn't look anything like the ones made today. We say
the "The evolution of the automobile". "The evolution
of the airplane". From walking to spaceships. We certainly
travel much different than we did a thousand years ago. The
evolution of the way we way we make our homes. The
evolution of the telephone. The way mankind does things,
keeps changing, so I think this tends to get some people
thinking in terms of evolution. With the exception of
homes, other species have never made anything, and the way they
make their homes hasn't changed since man's been watching them.
Birds still make their nest the same way. Snakes as well as
foxes still live in dens. They still travel in the same fashion
as always. Do You Get the point I'm trying to make? For
evolution to be real, we should be seeing similar changes in
the way other species do things. But we don't.
To the Evolutionist I say: Just suppose, suppose in your own mind, and I know you have creative minds, and are very
intelligent, but just suppose the Word of God is all true. And that there is a judgment.
And that we all are going to stand before our Creator. How do you think you are going to
feel, knowing that you have called Him, (God the Creator), and all His witnesses to His
Word, a liar. With no more evidence than you have, I believe I'd be thinking long
and hard, before I'd be promoting such doctrine.
I have personally been witness to, as others
have, conversations between an individual leaving this flesh life, and others whom have
gone on. The conversation takes place while they are in the transition from this world
to that one. The Real World. It is an awesome thing to behold. It can reach way
down inside you, into a part of you, that I'm sure, some don't even realize exist.
To me, the the Word of God, is the only information
available to mankind, that very clearly makes a case in regards to evolution.. But there I go again. I've been
reading that book. What is it? - - - Let's see now. - - - What was it? - - Uh, - - Uh,
Oh Yeah, The B-i-b-l-e.
As it states in the
header section of this page, the words in italics are my comments. What do I know?
Thanks, for allowing
me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto
God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness.
In His Word,
