The Naked Truth

We have an old saying called "The Naked Truth".
The true meaning is "The Absolute Truth". Just what
is The Absolute Truth?
Just prior to Jesus being turned over to
those wanting Him crucified, He prayed to the Father. The prayer
started out like this.
John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up
his eyes to heaven, and said,
Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy
Son also may glorify thee:
The entire chapter, (twenty six verses), is
made up of this prayer. Verse 17 contains the following
statement.
John 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word
is truth.
Although God's Word, the Holy Bible is
Truth, it does contain some lies. Lies not told by God through
His prophets but by others. One in particular is none other than
ole pretty boy himself, Satan. Every time the ole Devil opens
his mouth a lie rolls out. It's usually so close to The
Absolute Truth that it fools people.
In the Garden of Eden:
Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man,
saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, thou shalt not
eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest
thereof thou shalt surely die.
God then made Adam a wife.
Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man
and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Note they were naked and not
ashamed. Later in the Bible we see that nakedness was
regarded as a shameful thing.
Let's look at a couple of incidences
showing that to be so.
2 Sam 10:4 Wherefore Hanun took David's servants,
and shaved off the one half of their beards, and cut off their
garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent
them away.
2 Sam 10:5 When they told it unto David, he
sent to meet them, because the men were
greatly ashamed: and the king said,
Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.
Isa 20:4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away
the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old,
naked and barefoot, even with
their buttocks uncovered,
to the shame of
Egypt.
Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle
than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said
unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Hey the ole serpent is telling the truth so far.
The serpent is one of Satan's names. He has
many and some are listed in Rev 12:9.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast
out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into
the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
It's probably a good time to look at this
next verse which describes the ole serpent as a liar and the
father of it.
John 8:44
Ye are of your father
the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode
not
in the truth, because there is
no
truth in him. When he speaketh a
lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father
of it.
Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We
may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree[1] which
is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat
of it, neither shall ye touch[2] it, lest ye die.
1 "TREE":
6086. 'ets, ates; from H6095; a tree (from its firmness);
hence wood (plur. sticks):-- + carpenter, gallows, helve, +
pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.
6095. 'atsah, aw-tsaw';
a prim. root; prop. to fasten (or make firm),
i.e. to close (the eyes):--shut.
2 "TOUCH":
5060. naga', naw-gah'; a prim. root; prop. to touch, i.e. lay
the hand upon (for any purpose; euphem., to lie with a
woman); by impl. to reach (fig. to arrive, acquire);
violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.):--beat, (X
be able to) bring (down), cast, come (nigh), draw near (nigh),
get up, happen, join, near, plague, reach (up), smite, strike,
touch. .... According to Webster's
dictionary a euphemism means, "To use a less direct word
or phrase for one considered more offensive".
One of the definitions of the word touch is
(to lie with a woman). See Gen 20:6 for an
example. Considering the subject matter from Gen 3:3 thru
Gen 3:16, we must conclude this to be what happened. There
certainly is no mention of an apple tree in the Garden Of Eden.
Trace the word tree to it's prime. It means (to close the eyes).
In Gen 3:5 Satan tells Eve that her eyes would be opened.
What a deceiver! The tree of knowledge of good and evil is
Satan. God refers to Himself as a Green Fir Tree. See Hos
14:8. He also refers to His children as
trees. Jesus being the Tree Of Life.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye
shall not surely
die:
In Genesis 2:17 God said "thou shalt surely die".
Note Satan added only one little word. The word not. The
Naked Truth
here, is that Satan, the ole serpent, is lying. The wicked will
eventually perish, (or die), in the lake of fire, after the 1000
year reign of Jesus Christ. Anyone teaching that everyone, even the wicked, lives
forever, is merely repeating this lie told in the Garden of
Eden- "Ye shall not
surely die". See Rev. 21:8. See
Rev. 20:11 - 15. See Mat 13:49 - 50.
Preachers, teachers, and lay people of the Christian community
are telling people today the same thing, "Ye shall
not surely die". You
will be in torment forever, burning in hell. They say everyone
is going to live forever. To them, it's just a matter of
where??? But what does God say about it?
Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the
soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the
soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Now here we have words straight from
Jesus Himself.
Mat 10:28 And fear not
them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but
rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in
hell.
Next we have Satan continuing his lies and
flattery with Eve in the garden of Eden.
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat
thereof, then your eyes shall be opened[1], and ye shall
be as gods, knowing good and evil.
1 "OPENED":
6491. paqach, paw-kakh'; a prim. root; to open (the
senses, espec. the eyes); fig. to be observant:--open.
Here Satan tells Eve that her eyes will be
opened. Trace the word tree (in Gen 3:3)
to it's prime and you will see that it means (to close the
eyes). Also note the word gods, (little g). To me, Satan's
trying to make Eve believe that there are many gods, and not
just one God. ....Again,
the naked, or absolute truth, is
Satan's lying. What else can one
expect from the father of lies?
"TREE": 6086. 'ets, ates; from
H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence wood (plur.
sticks):-- + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank,
staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.
6095. 'atsah,
aw-tsaw'; a prim. root; prop. to fasten (or make firm),
i.e. to close (the eyes):--shut.
Gen 3:6 And when the woman[1] saw that the tree
was good for food, and that it was pleasant[2] to the
eyes, and a tree to be desired[3] to make one wise, she took
of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband
with her; and he did eat.
1 "WOMAN":
802. 'ishshah, ish-shaw'; fem. of H376 or H582; irregular plur.
nashiym, naw-sheem'; a woman (used in the same wide sense as
H582):--[adulter]ess,
each, every, female, X many, + none, one, + together, wife,
woman. Often unexpressed in English.
2 "PLEASANT":
8378. ta'avah, tah-av-aw'; from H183 (abbrev.); a longing; by
impl. a delight (subj. satisfaction, obj. a charm):--dainty,
desire, X exceedingly, X greedily, lust
(ing), pleasant. See also H6914.
3 "DESIRED":
2530. chamad, khaw-mad'; a prim. root; to delight in:--beauty,
greatly beloved, covet, delectable thing, ( X great) delight,
desire, goodly, lust,
(be) pleasant (thing), precious (thing).
Note the meaning of the word pleasant
in this verse. One hardly LUST after fruit. Also note the
meaning of woman in this verse. One definition is (adulteress).
Check out the word desired also. Beginning to get the picture.
Eve did not eat fruit from a fruit tree. Sex is what she
partook of.
Think of those silver tongued devils
who prey on widows and elderly women in today's time. It don't
take much to fool most people. Some men and women can be
persuaded to have sex, especially if one pretends to love the
other.
Satan, the father of all lies, even tried
this on Jesus Christ who was God in the flesh.
Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost
returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Luke 4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil.
And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he
afterward hungered.
Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be
the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying,
It is written, That man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Jesus quoting correctly Deuteronomy 8:3.
Deu 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and
fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy
fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not
live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the
mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high
mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a
moment[1] of time.
1 "MOMENT":
4743. stigme, stig-may'; fem. of G4742; a point of time,
i.e. an instant:--moment.
How could Satan show Jesus all this in an
instant? Remember, he's supernatural, and there's no time in
Heaven. At least not as we know it.
Luke 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this
power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered
unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
Luke 4:7 If thou therefore wilt worship me,
all shall be thine.
Now we know what Satan wants. He wants to
be worshiped. When Satan shows up we must do like Jesus did in
the next verse.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Get thee behind me,
Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and
him only shalt thou serve.
Jesus quoting correctly Deuteronomy 10:20.
Deu 10:20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy
God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and
swear by his name.
Aren't you glad Jesus didn't sell out here.
I think Eve and Adam did sell out. When Satan comes tempting,
Will YOU? If it had been you or I in the garden, we would have
probably done likewise. Don't be so quick to blame Adam for our
problems. Satan either. We're responsible for our own actions.
Now more of Satan tempting Jesus.
Luke 4:9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set
him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the
Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
Luke 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his
angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Here Satan is quoting, or maybe I should
say misquoting, Psalms 91:11.
Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to
keep thee in all thy ways.
Note the difference in these scriptures?
Change just a little here, and a little there, and Satan has
things his way.
Luke 4:11 And in their hands they shall
bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot
against a stone.
The scripture Satan misquotes this time
is psalms 91:12.
Psa 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest
thou dash thy foot against a stone.
He added (at any time). I
think Satan slipped up here and gave away, (to the wise ) the
main thrust of his operations in the latter days. (THE RAPTURE
THEORY) or sometimes called the (ANY MOMENT DOCTRINE). The
pre-tribulation rapture theory claims that Christ could come
at any time. Isn't it strange that the phrase was started by
Satan himself. I believe this is the stumbling stone talked
about in Rom 9:32 - 33.
Luke 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him,
It is said, Thou shalt
not tempt the Lord thy God.
Deu 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God,
as ye tempted him in Massah.
Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the
temptation, he departed from him for a season[1].
1 "SEASON":
2540. kairos, kahee-ros'; of uncert. affin.; an
occasion, i.e. set or proper time:--X always,
opportunity, (convenient, due) season, (due, short, while)
time, a while. Comp. G5550.
Satan returned and was present at the last
supper. See Joh 13:27.
John 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into
him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
If the ole Devil had the gall to try this
on Jesus, he certainly will try it on us, when he comes again to
this earth in person. Satan is coming in one of his
masquerades to beguile, or seduce, us to. ... Spiritually of
course.
2 Cor 11:2 For I am jealous over you with
godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I
may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent[1] beguiled[2] Eve through his subtlety[3], so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
1 "SERPENT":
3789. ophis, of'-is; prob. from G3700 (through the idea
of sharpness of vision); a snake, fig. (as a type of sly
cunning) an artful malicious
person, espec. Satan:--serpent.
2 "BEGUILED":
1818. exapatao, ex-ap-at-ah'-o; from G1537 and G538;
to seduce wholly:--beguile, deceive.
3 "SUBTLETY":
3834. panourgia, pan-oorg-ee'-ah; from G3835;
adroitness, i.e. (in a bad sense) trickery or
sophistry:--(cunning) craftiness, subtilty.
2 Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself
is transformed[1] into an angel of light.
Let's be sure to look at the definition of
the word transformed.
1 "TRANSFORMED":
3345. metaschematizo, met-askh-ay-mat-id'-zo;
from G3326 and a der. of G4976; to transfigure or disguise; fig. to apply (by
accommodation):--transfer, transform (self); to change.
He'll be disguising the Word
of God. ... Through the many modern translations it's going on
now, (in this the early 21st. century).
2 Cor 11:15 Therefore it is no great
thing if his ministers also be transformed as the
ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according
to their works.
The Naked Truth here is, they're
coming disguised. Don't let your end be the same as
theirs.
There are some in the Christian community
that don't seem to think Satan will actually be here before
Jesus Christ. That they'll all be taken out to meet the Lord in
the air. Flying out of here I guess. Well, there are some
scriptures that say just the opposite. The following scriptures
are The Naked Truth about the matter. Maybe I should say,
The Absolute Truth about the matter. Remember that Satan
has several names? Well, two more of his names are The Man of
Sin and The Son of Perdition. The Apostle Paul writes
of this.
2 Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering
together unto him,
2 Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us,
as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for
that day shall not come, except there come a falling
away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the
son of perdition;
2 Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above
all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Now for flying out of here:
Ezek 13:17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the
daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart;
and prophesy thou against them,
Ezek 13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe
to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make
kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt
the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that
come unto you?
Ezek 13:19 And will ye pollute me among my people
for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls
that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not
live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
Ezek 13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am against your pillows,
wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly,
and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go,
even the souls that ye hunt to make
them fly.
Ezek 13:21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and
deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in
your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezek 13:22 Because with lies ye have made the
heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and
strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from
his wicked way, by promising him life:
These verses in Ezekiel is God describing
how He feels about people flying to save their
souls. If He's against it, we should be to.
When will Satan and his angels be here?
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that
old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole
world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out
with him.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our
God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is
cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of
the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not
their lives unto the death.
How do we overcome at this time? By the
blood of Jesus Christ and by our testimony. Our
testimony? What's this?
Mark 13:9
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall
deliver you up to councils[1]; and in the synagogues[2] ye shall
be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for
my sake, for a testimony[3]
against them.
1 "COUNCILS":
4892. sunedrion, soon-ed'-ree-on; neut of a presumed
der. of a comp. of G4862 and the base of G1476; a joint
session, i.e. (spec.) the Jewish Sanhedrim; by anal. a
subordinate tribunal:--council.
2
"SYNAGOGUES": 4864. sunagoge, soon-ag-o-gay'; from (the
redupl. form of) G4863; an assemblage of persons; spec. a
Jewish "synagogue" (the meeting or the place); by anal.
a Christian church:--assembly, congregation,
synagogue.
3
"TESTIMONY": 3142. marturion, mar-too'-ree-on; neut. of
a presumed der. of G3144; something evidential, i.e. (gen.)
evidence given or (spec.) the Decalogue (in
the sacred Tabernacle):--to be testified,
testimony, witness.
Isa 45:4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and
Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by
thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known
me.
Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them
which were sealed[1]: and there were sealed an
hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the
children of Israel.
1 "SEALED": 4972. sphragizo,
sfrag-id'-zo; from G4973; to stamp (with a signet or
private mark) for security or preservation (lit. or
fig.); by impl. to keep secret, to attest:--(set
a, set to) seal up. .......
Check out the word attest in Webster's dictionary. "To
affirm to be true or genuine. Specifically to
authenticate by signing as a witness. To
put on oath. To testify to a belief"
Mark 13:10
And the gospel must first be published among all
nations.
Mark 13:11
But when they shall lead you, and deliver
you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither
do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that
hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy
Ghost.
That is when some will be giving a
testimony. Remaining true and loyal to the Real Jesus
Christ and not that cheap imitation called Satan.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens,
and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of
the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast
unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man
child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of
a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her
place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a
time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth
water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be
carried away of the flood.
Water as a flood out of his mouth?
No. Words, lying words, out of his mouth to deceive. ...
Remember Eve in the garden and Jesus in the wilderness?
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the
earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon
cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman,
and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the
commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Now who's he after? The Christians. The
True Christians. The ones that have the testimony.
Remember the testimony?
Mark 13:9
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall
deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be
beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my
sake, for a testimony
against them.
Hey some are gonna be speaking out
against them. What are they gonna be speaking? The Naked
Truth. The Absolute Truth.
A little more about Adam and Eve:
Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and
they knew that they were naked;
and they sewed fig leaves together, and
made themselves aprons.
Notice here they sewed FIG leaves
together and made themselves aprons. They used the aprons to
cover the part of the body where the sin was committed. You
don't cover your mouth with an apron, even after you eat an
apple. The so called preachers, teachers, etc. would be closer
to the truth if they claimed Adam and Eve ate a fig. .... If God
had told them to be fruitful and multiply, would they have felt
the need to cover up anything?
Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God
walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his
wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the
trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and
said unto him, Where art thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the
garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I
hid myself.
Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou
wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I
commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Do you honestly think that by eating an
apple, you would suddenly realize that you were naked?
Jesus doesn't want us to feel ashamed or
embarrassed as Adam and Eve were. He wants us the be fully
clothed.
Rev 16:15
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that
watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk
naked,
and they see his shame.
Clothed with what? The Bible tells us what
our clothing is gonna be made of.
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give
honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife
hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that
she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for
the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
The Absolute Truth
here is the fact that in Heaven there'll be no nakedness or
shame. The next three verses is Jesus talking.
Mark 13:35 Watch ye
therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at
even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Mark 13:36 Lest coming
suddenly he find you sleeping.
Mark 13:37 And what I say
unto you I say unto all,
Watch.
We have another old saying. It's a figure
of speech or an idiom that means "a situation that one is not
prepared for". It's usually stated something like this. "Don't
be caught with your pants down".
When this time comes, make sure The
Naked, (or Absolute), Truth is, ... that you're fully
clothed and not caught with your pants down.
Thanks, for allowing me, to share
this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness.
In His Word,
