The Wrath of God
and The two witnesses
to listen Chapter 16 of the book of
Revelation describes The Wrath of God being poured upon
the earth. It's also known as The seven plagues of the seven
angels. I have included the last four verses of chapter 15
which is an introduction to the pouring out of the vials of
wrath. Following chapter 16, I have included chapter 11, which
describes the two witnesses of God. Neither of these have
any comments, references verses, or Strong's numbers. I want you
to read them just as they are. Compare the two and note the
similarities. After doing so, read on. I have chapter 16,
along with my comments, reference verses, and Strong's word
definitions. I have also included verses from chapter 11,
concerning the two witnesses. A
good thing to remember is that The Bible, especially Revelation,
is full of symbolism. I'm starting with Hosea 12:10, where God
Himself states that Truth, and Revelation 1:20, where Jesus
Himself is describing some symbology He used in Revelation.
Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken by
the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used
similitudes[1], by the ministry of the prophets.
1
"SIMILITUDES": 1819. damah, daw-maw'; a prim. root;
to compare; by impl. to resemble,
liken, consider:--compare, devise, (be) like (-n),
mean, think, use similitudes.
Rev 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest
in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The
seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and
the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven
churches.
Introduction to the pouring
out of the vials of wrath:
Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the
tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the
temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white
linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the
seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who
liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God,
and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple,
till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
The Wrath of God:
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the
seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath
of God upon the earth.
Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had
the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial
upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every
living soul died in the sea.
Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon
the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say,
Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be,
because thou hast judged thus.
Rev 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and
prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are
worthy. Rev 16:7 And I heard
another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and
righteous are thy judgments.
Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial
upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and
blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and
they repented not to give him glory.
Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial
upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness;
and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of
their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial
upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up,
that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs
come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the
beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working
miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the
whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God
Almighty. Rev 16:15 Behold,
I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his
garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place
called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial
into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of
heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and
lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since
men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three
parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the
fierceness of his wrath. Rev
16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of
heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed
God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was
exceeding great. The
two witnesses:
Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the
angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the
altar, and them that worship therein.
Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple
leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:
and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses,
and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days,
clothed in sackcloth. Rev
11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth.
Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire
proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if
any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it
rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters
to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as
often as they will. Rev 11:7
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and
shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the
street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and
Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and
tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an
half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall
rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to
another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the
earth. Rev 11:11 And after
three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into
them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them
which saw them. Rev 11:12
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up
hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies
beheld them. Rev 11:13 And
the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of
the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven
thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God
of heaven. Rev 11:14 The
second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there
were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are
become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall
reign for ever and ever. Rev
11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their
seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God
Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast
taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath
is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and
that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and
to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and
shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven,
and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there
were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and
great hail.
Now, The Wrath of God,
chapter 16, with my comments, verse references, and Strong's
word definitions. Verse references from
Revelation 11 are in green.
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice
out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and
pour[1] out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
1
"POUR": 1632. ekcheo, ek-kheh'-o; or (by var.) ekchuno,
ek-khoo'-no; from G1537 and cheo (to pour); to pour forth; fig. to
bestow:--gush (pour) out, run greedily (out), shed
(abroad, forth), spill.
While reading here about the wrath of God, All should read
Exodus 3:1 thru Exodus 12:38. One should
also read the whole book of Numbers just to see how angry God can
get. I Corinthians 10:11, refers to the children of Israel and how
they are to be an example for us in the end time.
1 Cor 10:11 Now all these
things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are
written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the
world are come.
Who gets the brunt of God's wrath?
Not God's people.
Col 3:6 For which things' sake
the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the
LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will
take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his
enemies.
Read
Zephaniah 1:18 thru 2:3. Also read my notes at
Zephaniah 2:3
to see that God protects His own. Those notes also contains Psalms 27:1-5.
Rev 16:2 And the first went, and
poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and
grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and
upon them which worshipped his image.
Note, a noisome and
grievous sore. A type of plague?
Rev 11:6
These
have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their
prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and
to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as
they will.
Rev 16:3 And the second angel
poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a
dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.
Rev 11:6
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in
the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to
turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all
plagues, as often as they will.
Exo 7:19 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy
rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their
streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their
pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there
may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of
wood, and in vessels of stone.
Rev 16:4 And the third angel
poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and
they became blood.
Rev 11:6
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in
the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to
turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all
plagues, as often as they will.
A double dose of blood?
Why?
Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of
the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and
shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
Angel of the waters?
Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me,
The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth,
are
peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Rev 16:6 For they have shed the
blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to
drink; for they are worthy.
In the following verses Jesus tells who it
is that killed the prophets.
Mat 23:31
Wherefore ye be
witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which
killed the prophets.
Mat 23:32
Fill ye up then the
measure of your fathers.
Mat 23:33
Ye serpents, ye
generation[1], (or offspring)
of vipers, how can
ye escape the damnation of hell?
1
"GENERATION": 1081. gennema, ghen'-nay-mah;
from G1080; offspring; by anal. produce (lit.
or fig.):--fruit, generation.
Mat 23:34
Wherefore, behold, I
send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them
ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your
synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
Mat 23:35
That upon you may come
all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from
the blood of
righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias,
whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Mat 23:36
Verily I say unto you,
All these things shall come upon this generation.
Rev 16:7 And I heard another out
of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous
are thy judgments.
Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel
poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to
scorch men with fire.
Rev 11:5 And
if any man will hurt[1] them, fire proceedeth out of
their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man
will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
1
"HURT": 91. adikeo,
ad-ee-keh'-o; from G94; to be unjust, i.e.
(act.) do wrong (mor., socially or phys.):--hurt,
injure, be an offender, be unjust, (do, suffer, take) wrong.
What comes from peoples
mouths? Words. They'll be using God's Word. Has God allowed
anyone to do this before? Three times. Elijah the prophet.
(1)....
2 Ki 1:10 And Elijah answered
and said to the captain of fifty, If I
be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and
consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from
heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
2 Ki 1:11 Again also he
sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he
answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king
said, Come down quickly.
(2).
... 2 Ki 1:12 And Elijah
answered and said unto them, If I be a
man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and
thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and
consumed him and his fifty.
(3).
... 1 Ki 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the
offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the
prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of
Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel,
and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things
at thy word.
1 Ki 18:37 Hear me, O LORD,
hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God,
and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
1 Ki 18:38 Then the fire
of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and
the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water
that was in the trench.
Luke 9:54 And when his
disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou
that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them,
even as Elias did?
God did allow Satan to do this
to Job. See Job 1:12 thru 16.
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched
with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power
over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Rev 11:5 And
if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of
their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man
will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Still no repentance.
Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel
poured out his vial upon the seat[1] of the beast; and his kingdom
was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
1
"SEAT": 2362. thronos, thron'-os; from thrao (to sit);
a stately
seat ("throne"); by impl. power
or (concr.) a
potentate:--seat, throne.
Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God
of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not
of their deeds.
Still no repentance.
Pain and sores?
Rev 11:6
These
have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their
prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and
to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as
they will.
Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel
poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water
thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be
prepared.
Rev 11:6
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in
the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn
them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often
as they will.
Without rain, things soon
dry up.
Rev 16:13 And I saw three
unclean[1] spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the
dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of
the false[2] prophet.
1
"UNCLEAN": 169. akathartos, ak-ath'-ar-tos; from G1 (as a neg.
particle) and a presumed der. of G2508 (mean, cleansed); impure
(cer., mor. [lewd] or spec. [doemonic]):--foul, unclean.
2
"FALSE": 5578. pseudoprophetes, psyoo-dop-rof-ay'-tace; from
G5571 and G4396; a spurious prophet, i.e. pretended
foreteller or religious impostor:--false prophet.
What comes out of someone's mouth?
Not frogs, but words. Slick talkers. Frogs were one of
the plagues in Egypt.
Exo 8:4 And the frogs shall
come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy
servants.
Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits
of devils[1], working miracles, which go forth unto the kings
of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of
that great day of God Almighty.
1
"DEVILS": 1142. daimon, dah'-ee-mown; from daio
(to distribute
fortunes); a daemon or supernatural spirit (of a bad
nature):--devil.
Heard anything about
distributing fortunes lately? By lately I mean August of
2009. I just have to insert Daniel 11:24, where I feel it's
talking about the same event as here in Revelation.
Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the
fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which
his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall
scatter[1] among them the prey[2], and spoil[3],
and riches[4]: yea, and he shall forecast his
devices[5] against the strong holds, even for a time.
We're hearing a lot about spreading the wealth
around? Dispersing the wealth? Having all, or most everyone
on the same level. No bills, etc.??? Just accept his system.
Note the meanings of these words.
1 "SCATTER":
967. bazar, baw-zar'; a prim. root; to
disperse:--scatter.
..... Spread the wealth around??? Dispersing the
wealth?
2 "PREY":
961. bizzah, biz-zaw'; fem. of H957;
booty:--prey, spoil.
3 "SPOIL":
7998. shalal, shaw-lawl'; from H7997;
booty:--prey,
spoil.
4 "RICHES":
7399. rekuwsh, rek-oosh'; or rekush, rek-oosh'; from pass.
part. of H7408; property (as gathered):--good,
riches, substance.
5 "DEVICES":
4284. machashabah, makh-ash-aw-baw'; or machashebeth,
makh-ash-eh'-beth; from H2803; a contrivance, i.e. (concr.) a
texture, machine, or (abstr.) intention, plan (whether
bad, a plot; or good, advice):--cunning (work),
curious work, device (-sed), imagination, invented, means,
purpose,
thought.
God is going to allow Satan, (or use him), to gather together the
northern army and her allies and bring them against His people. See
Ezekiel 38 and 39.
Rev 13:11 And I beheld another
beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb,
and he spake as a dragon.
Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all
the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and
them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly
wound was healed.
Rev 13:13 And he doeth great
wonders[1], (according to Strong's it's miracles), so
that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight
of men,
1
"WONDERS": 4592. semeion, say-mi'-on;
neut. of a presumed der. of the base of G4591; an
indication, espec. cer. or supernat.:--miracle,
sign, token, wonder.
Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that
dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he
had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell
on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had
the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 16:15
Behold, I come as a thief.
Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest
he walk naked, and they see his shame.
When is Jesus coming? Well, here
we are at the battle of Armageddon. Watch?
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them
together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Rev 16:17 And the seventh
angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a
great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,
It is done.
It is done. At this point, the flesh
age is over.
Rev 11:15 And
the seventh angel sounded; and there were great
voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become
the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign
for ever and ever.
Rev 10:7 But in the days of
the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound,
the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared
to his servants the prophets.
Rev 16:18 And there were voices,
and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such
as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake,
and so great.
Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there
a great earthquake, and
the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of
men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory
to the God of heaven.
Rev 16:19 And the great city was
divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and
great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the
cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there
a great earthquake, and
the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of
men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory
to the God of heaven.
Rev 16:20 And every island fled
away, and the mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men
a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a
talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail;
for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Rev 11:6
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in
the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn
them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues,
as often as they will.
Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast
thou seen the treasures of the hail,
Job 38:23 Which I have reserved
against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
Hail was one of the
plagues of Egypt.
Exo 9:24 So there was hail, and
fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none
like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded,
and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were
cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and
all green grass was burnt up.
In heaven, the seven angels
pour out the vials of the wrath of God. On earth, do the two
witnesses and the two candlesticks help with this project? Two
candlesticks? What's these two candlesticks? Remember Revelation
11:3 and 4?
Rev 11:3 And I will give power
unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand
two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:7 And
when they shall have finished their
testimony,
the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make
war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 11:4 These are the
two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth.
Remember Jesus describing
the symbology?
Rev 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest
in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The
seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and
the seven
candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Only two of the seven
Christian churches, (or candlesticks), did Jesus find no fault
with. Smyrna and Philadelphia. Just as the two witnesses have a
testimony to
give, so do some others. I tend to think they come from these
two churches, (or candlesticks).
Mark 13:9
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to
councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye
shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a
testimony against them.
Mark 13:10 And the gospel must
first be published among all nations.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall
lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye
shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be
given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak,
but the Holy Ghost.
In Revelation 11:4 above it
states "These are the two olive trees, and the two
candlesticks." Look at the verses below from Zechariah and one
can tell that the two olive trees, (or two witnesses), and the
candlesticks are separate entities.
Zec 4:2 And said unto me, What
seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a
candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and
his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which
are upon the top thereof:
Zec 4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the
right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side
thereof. Zec 4:11 Then
answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees
upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side
thereof? Zec 4:12 And I
answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches
which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of
themselves? Zec 4:13 And he
answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said,
No, my lord. Zec 4:14 Then
said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by
the Lord of the whole earth.
Remember Revelation 11:4?
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive
trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth.
I tend to believe the events in Revelation 16
and Revelation 11, are the same. Jesus made the following
statement in Luke 12:49.
Luke 12:49 I
am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be
already kindled?
Jesus expects His true
followers to be working for Him when He returns.
Psa 110:1 A Psalm of David. The
LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool.
Mat 22:44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
How long is Jesus going to sit there?
Until!!!! His enemies are made His footstool.
How's God going to use some,
(His true followers), at that time? They're gonna be bruising
Ole Satan and his angels. The two witnesses and His very elect,
(His true followers), the two candlesticks.
With the testimonies of the two witnesses and
the two candlesticks complete and after three and one half days
of the two witnesses lying dead in the streets of Jerusalem,
Jesus shall return and put the finishing touches to the end of
Satan and his regime. The last of the vials of
The Wrath of God, which begins at Revelation 16:15.
Rev 16:17 And the seventh
angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a
great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,
It is done.
It is done. ....
11:13 And the same hour was there
a great earthquake, and
the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of
men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory
to the God of heaven.
Rev 16:19 And the great city was
divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and
great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the
cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
11:13 And the same hour was there
a great earthquake, and
the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of
men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory
to the God of heaven.
Rev 16:20 And every island fled
away, and the mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men
a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a
talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail;
for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
I have another Bible study
that would be good to read along with this one. It's called
"The
Bruisers". It gives
more detail of just what these two witnesses and two
candlesticks will be doing. You can click on the title to go
there now.
Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to
always,
study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun
profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.
In His Word,
