here to listen Just what condition is the
United States in, spiritually, and how does God feel about it?
This January of 2006. Remember, words in italics are my
comments. If we are to know this, we must know who we are.
Historically, it is easy to find out. Most people can't trace
their ancestry back more than a small number of
generations. Is the United States mentioned in the Bible? Of
course. When the Bible was written, there was no United States.
No Americas. That doesn't mean they weren't written about. You
can read documentaries, (not commentaries), to find out just who
the majority peoples, of the United States, are. There
are books available. Judah's Sceptre And Joseph's Birthright,
The Scottish Declaration of Independence, and The Abrahamic
Covenant. I have mentioned three. There are others. It is my
belief, as well as the belief of lots of others, that the United
States is part of Israel. There are twelve tribes of Israel, and
over the years they have grown to great numbers. Too many to put
into the geographical location today, know as the Middle Eastern
nation, Israel. The tribes of Israel were scattered throughout
the world. When the Bible talks of the United States is is
talking of a people. The Israelites. With this in mind, let's
look at some Bible verses that describes a people, their
actions, etc. and let's see just which nation of today, fits.
Let's look at some verses that confirm that
Israel has been scattered throughout the world.
Neh 1:8 Remember, I beseech thee,
the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If
ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
Here we see why God, (in
some cases), would scatter his people. We're gonna pay for what
we do.
Neh 1:9 But if ye turn unto me,
and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast
out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them
from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen
to set my name there.
Get back on track with God,
He'll make sure you're taken care of.
Jer 9:13 And the LORD saith,
Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have
not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
Jer 9:14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart,
and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
Jer 9:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give
them water of gall to drink.
Jer 9:16 I will scatter them also among the heathen,
whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a
sword after them, till I have consumed them.
Jer 10:21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought
the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks
shall be scattered.
Jer 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and
scatter
the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
Jer 30:10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the
LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee
from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity;
and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none
shall make him afraid.
Jer 30:11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though
I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee,
yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in
measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
We can expect correction
from our God. Just like when we were growing up, our parents
corrected us, and dished out some punishment when needed. Why?
Because they loved us. God loves us to. Be thankful for that
love.
Jer 30:14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they
seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy,
with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine
iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
We get out in the world,
and soon find, that our worldly friends and
lovers forget us real quick. Then where do we turn?
Jer 31:10 Hear the word of the
LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say,
He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep
him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
Unlike the worldly friends
and lovers, God will never forsake us. We get away from Him from
time to time, but He continually watches over us, and is quick
to forgive.
Ezek 11:16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have
cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have
scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as
a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
No matter where God sends
us, He will be our refuge. Our place of safety.
Ezek 11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even
gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries
where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the
land of Israel.
See, God is going to take
care of His people.
Ezek 12:8 And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me,
saying,
Ezek 12:9 Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious
house, said unto thee, What doest thou?
Ezek 12:10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden
concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that
are among them.
Ezek 12:11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be
done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.
Ezek 12:12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his
shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through
the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see
not the ground with his eyes.
Ezek 12:13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken
in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the
Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
Ezek 12:14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about
him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword
after them.
Ezek 12:15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall
scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the
countries.
Ezek 12:16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword,
from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare
all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they
shall know that I am the LORD.
I think that God has
scattered, (sent), some of His people throughout the world, to
testify to them about God. This next verse tell us that. Just
because the Apostles were scattered, they didn't stop preaching
of God and Jesus.
Acts 8:4 Therefore they that were
scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
God has work for us to do.
Some were scattered for that very reason. To spread the word.
Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down
into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for
my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered
among the nations, and parted my land.
John 11:51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest
that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
John 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should
gather together in one the children of God that were scattered
abroad.
The whole book of James was
written to those scattered abroad.
James 1:1 James, a servant of God
and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are
scattered abroad, greeting.
Now, back to current
times for these people scattered by God.
(Hosea 1:10 KJV) Yet the number of
the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot
be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the
place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it
shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
Can this multitude of
people fit in the little nation Israel of today? Today being
January, 2006. No! I hear people all the time,
(Christians), say. "We are Gentiles, we are grafted in". It's
just that they don't know their heritage. They don't know that
they are God's people. But that's alright. God knows.
(Hosea 1:11 KJV) Then shall the
children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together,
and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the
land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
Judah and Israel has not
been joined together again, as of yet. We, the United States are allies of,
and a protector of Judah, (The nation Israel) today. Any country
or group of countries that should attack that geographical
location of today, (Israel), would have the United States to
deal with.
(Hosea 2:5 KJV) For their mother
hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done
shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my
bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine
oil and my drink.
The United States is today,
(January of 2006), dependent of other nations for it's well
being. Lots of our food, (bread), comes from others. We have
polluted the earth so much that our water is unfit to consume.
Our clothing, (wool and flax), we get from someone else. We
depend on others for our oil. The most powerful nation that has
ever been, getting itself in this condition. Shame, Shame,
Shame.
(Hosea 2:6 KJV) Therefore, behold,
I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall
not find her paths.
(Hosea 2:7 KJV) And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall
not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them:
then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for
then was it better with me than now.
When we leave God, it
usually don't take long, to find we've made a huge
mistake.
(Hosea 2:8 KJV) For she did not
know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her
silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.
(Hosea 2:9 KJV) Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in
the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will
recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
(Hosea 2:10 KJV) And now will I discover[1] her lewdness in the
sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.
[1] "DISCOVER": 1540. galah, gaw-law';
a prim. root; to denude (espec. in a disgraceful sense); by
impl. to exile (captives being usually stripped); fig. to
reveal:-- + advertise, appear, bewray, bring, (carry, lead, go)
captive (into captivity), depart, disclose, discover, exile, be
gone, open, X plainly, publish, remove, reveal, X shamelessly,
shew, X surely, tell, uncover.
(Hosea 2:11 KJV) I will also cause
all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her
sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
(Hosea 2:12 KJV) And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees,
whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have
given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field
shall eat them.
(Hosea 2:13 KJV) And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim[1],
wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her
earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat
me, saith the LORD.
[1] "BAALIM": 1168. Ba'al,
bah'-al; the same as H1167; Baal, a Phoenician deity:--Baal,
[plur.] Baalim.
(Hosea 2:14 KJV) Therefore,
behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and
speak comfortably unto her.
(Hosea 2:15 KJV) And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and
the valley of Achor[1] for a door of hope: and she shall sing there,
as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out
of the land of Egypt.
[1] "ACHOR": 5911. 'Akowr, aw-kore';
from H5916; troubled; Akor, the name of a place in Pal.:--Achor.
(Hosea 2:16 KJV) And it shall be
at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi[1]; and shalt call me no more
Baali[2].
[1] 1 "ISHI": 376. 'iysh, eesh;
contr. for H582 [or perh. rather from an unused root mean. to be
extant]; a man as an individual or a male person; often used as
an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently
not expressed in translation):--also, another, any (man), a
certain, + champion, consent, each, every (one), fellow, [foot-,
husband-] man, (good-, great, mighty) man, he, high (degree),
him (that is), husband, man [-kind], + none, one, people,
person, + steward, what (man) soever, whoso (-ever), worthy.
Comp. H802. [2] 1180.
Ba'aliy, bah-al-ee'; from H1167 with-pron. suff.; my master;
Baali, a symbolical name for Jehovah:--Baali.
Today, it appears that there are those, that
want to put God, on the same level as flesh man.
(Hosea 2:17 KJV) For I will take
away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be
remembered by their name.
(Hosea 2:18 KJV) And in that day will I make a covenant for them
with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with
the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the
sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie
down safely.
(Hosea 2:19 KJV) And I will betroth[1] thee unto me for ever; yea, I
will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
[1] "BETROTH": 781. 'aras, aw-ras';
a prim. root; to engage for matrimony:--betroth, espouse.
Jesus, (at his return), is coming for a bride.
(Hosea 2:20 KJV) I will even
betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
(Hosea 2:21 KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear,
saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the
earth;
(Hosea 2:22 KJV) And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine,
and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
(Hosea 2:23 KJV) And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will
have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to
them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall
say, Thou art my God.
Let's go to Ezekiel,
chapter sixteen.
(Ezek 16:1 KJV) Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
(Ezek 16:2 KJV) Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her
abominations[1],
[1] "ABOMINATIONS": 8441. tow'ebah, to-ay-baw'; or to'ebah, to-ay-baw'; fem. act. part. of
H8581; prop. something disgusting (mor.), i.e. (as noun) (an
abhorrence; espec. idolatry or (concr.) an idol:--abominable
(custom, thing), abomination.
(Ezek 16:3 KJV) And say, Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of
the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an
Hittite.
(Ezek 16:4 KJV) And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born
thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple
thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
(Ezek 16:5 KJV) None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee,
to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open
field, to the loathing of thy person, in the day that thou wast
born.
(Ezek 16:6 KJV) And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in
thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live;
yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.
(Ezek 16:7 KJV) I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the
field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to
excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair[1] is
grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.
Who caused this nation to
prosper? God. The word hair, to me, is pubic hair. God is describing a young girl,
coming into adulthood.
[1] "HAIR": 8181. se'ar, say-awr'; or sa'ar (Isa. 7 : 20),
sah'-ar; from H8175 in the sense of dishevelling; hair (as if
tossed or bristling):--hair (-y), X rough.
(Ezek 16:8 KJV) Now when I passed
by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of
love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness:
yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith
the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
Here, God married a people,
a geographical location.
(Ezek 16:9 KJV) Then washed I thee
with water; yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I
anointed thee with oil.
(Ezek 16:10 KJV) I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod
thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen,
and I covered thee with silk.
The next few verses, to me,
describe how a man treats the woman he truly loves.
(Ezek 16:11 KJV) I decked thee
also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain
on thy neck.
(Ezek 16:12 KJV) And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in
thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
(Ezek 16:13 KJV) Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy
raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst
eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding
beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.
(Ezek 16:14 KJV) And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy
beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put
upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Lot's of people say God
don't like jewelry, makeup etc. Wonder how they deal with these
verses.
(Ezek 16:15 KJV) But thou didst
trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy
renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed
by; his it was.
If not very careful, one
can fall into this kind of situation. Just read on. Think of
what is going on in our nation, (the United States) today, (2006).
Especially in the economics, and religion. We're giving away all
our manufacturing technology, while embracing all sorts of
religions. Committing economic and religious whoredom.
(Ezek 16:16 KJV) And of thy
garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers
colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall
not come, neither shall it be so.
(Ezek 16:17 KJV) Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and
of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images
of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,
Today, some of us put a lot
of emphasis of worldly items. Cars, homes, jewelry, our
profession, etc. Almost, and maybe, to the point, that they become our God.
(Ezek 16:18 KJV) And tookest thy
broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil
and mine incense before them.
(Ezek 16:19 KJV) My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and
oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before
them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.
We take all God has given
us, and do terrible things with it. We are able to feed the whole
world with this great land God has given us. Our advancements in
technology, intellectual properties, etc. We as a people, are
giving it away and we get nothing in return. Lots of our huge
businesses are being sold to foreigners. Much of the land, in this,
our nation,
is owned, by other nations. Inflation has gotten so bad that we
can hardly afford the things we raise and produce. It's a shame,
that some of the leaders of the greatest nation of all time, thinks it should take
it's people to a lower standard of living, like some third world countries. With the
help of The Almighty God, our forefathers, have
brought this nation to the greatness it is, and now, it seems, we give it away. Greed, (the love of
money), it appears has taken over.
(Ezek 16:20 KJV) Moreover thou
hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me,
and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of
thy whoredoms a small matter,
You can bet it's not a
small matter to God. And it shouldn't be a small thing with us
either. Let's put this on a personal basis. What would you or I
do, if our child got to a point that when we gave him something,
he just couldn't wait to give it away, abuse it in some fashion,
or just show no interest. Well, I guess we know, what we would
do. Stop giving to our child. Maybe then, he would get
the idea. Can we expect God to do any different?
(Ezek 16:21 KJV) That thou hast
slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through
the fire for them?
This generation, it
appears, is on the broad path of destruction. I guess that is
why, we lead our children down the same path. We are giving
away, what should be left to our children. It appears,
they are going to have it much rougher than we. If time continues.
(Ezek 16:22 KJV) And in all thine
abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of
thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy
blood.
We forget real quick, the
one who picked us up, loved us, and put the whole world at our
finger tips.
(Ezek 16:23 KJV) And it came to
pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord
GOD;)
(Ezek 16:24 KJV) That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent
place, and hast made thee an high place in every street.
(Ezek 16:25 KJV) Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the
way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy
feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
It appears that we as a
nation, are almost abandoning Christianity, and are embracing
all forms of religion, At least putting them on the same level
as Christianity. Opened thy feet for everyone that
passed by? In today's language, it is (You spread
your legs). I don't think I have to say the real thing,
for you to understand what God has said here. God get's right to
the point. He can be very graphic in his speech, and tell it
just like it is. How would you like to have a wife that spread
her legs, for every Tom, Dick, or Harry? That's how God feels
about what we are doing.
(Ezek 16:26 KJV) Thou hast also
committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of
flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.
(Ezek 16:27 KJV) Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over
thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee
unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of
the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.
Will God turn us over to
some heathen nation? Most of the rest of the world does hate us.
I think they are jealous of all that God has Given us. There are
those, that want what we have. They'll, try to get it. At the
rate we're going, it wont be long. As a people joined together,
it appears we are slipping. Going headlong into the one world
order. It's good for us, that God does, and will continue, to
deal with each of us, on a individual basis. All ruling systems of the
world are melting into one. The iron mixed with miry clay. It
can't bond together and last. Read Daniel 2:41 through 2:44.
(Ezek 16:28 KJV) Thou hast played
the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable;
yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be
satisfied.
There are some that want
more, and more, and more. I'm talking of material things. God
compares it to a husband and wife relationship, I think, just so
we will understand, how he feels. You know God made us for his
pleasure. These verses don't sound like He's too happy.
(Ezek 16:29 KJV) Thou hast
moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto
Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.
(Ezek 16:30 KJV) How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing
thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious[1] whorish
woman;
[1] 7986. shalleteth,
shal-leh'-teth; fem. from H7980; a vixen:--imperious.
7980. shalat, shaw-lat'; a prim. root; to dominate,
i.e. govern; by impl. to permit:--(bear, have) rule, have
dominion, give (have) power.
People want to rule. I guess the ultimate in
ruling, is to rule the whole world.
(Ezek 16:31 KJV) In that thou
buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest
thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in
that thou scornest hire;
(Ezek 16:32 KJV) But as a wife that committeth adultery, which
taketh strangers instead of her husband!
(Ezek 16:33 KJV) They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy
gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto
thee on every side for thy whoredom.
(Ezek 16:34 KJV) And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy
whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in
that thou givest a reward, and no reward[1] is given unto thee,
therefore thou art contrary[2].
[1] "REWARD": 868. 'ethnan, eth-nan';
the same as H866; a gift (as the price of harlotry or
idolatry):--hire, reward.
[2] "CONTRARY": 2016. hephek, heh'-fek; or hephek, hay'-fek; from
H2015; a turn, i.e. the reverse:--contrary.
I think God is saying. "You have this whoring business all
backwards". If you're going to do it, you're the one that gets
paid. You don't pay them. When you go after other Gods, they
will drain you, of your very soul, and somehow make you think
they're doing you a favor. That's what's happening to this
nation, both economically and religiously.
(Ezek 16:35 KJV) Wherefore, O
harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
(Ezek 16:36 KJV) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was
poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with
thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the
blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;
(Ezek 16:37 KJV) Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers,
with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast
loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them
round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them,
that they may see all thy nakedness.
Is God, going to use us as a
lesson, for others?
See Lev. 18:8 and and Lev. 20:11 for a better
understanding of discovering someone's nakedness. Better yet
read all of Lev. 18 and Lev. 20.
(Ezek 16:38 KJV) And I will judge
thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I
will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.
(Ezek 16:39 KJV) And I will also give thee into their hand, and they
shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high
places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take
thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.
(Ezek 16:40 KJV) They shall also bring up a company against thee,
and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with
their swords.
The heathen don't care a
thing about the True God. The One and Only God. They don't care
for his children, either.
(Ezek 16:41 KJV) And they shall
burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the
sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the
harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.
(Ezek 16:42 KJV) So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my
jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no
more angry.
(Ezek 16:43 KJV) Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy
youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I
also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD:
and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine
abominations.
(Ezek 16:44 KJV) Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use
this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her
daughter.
(Ezek 16:45 KJV) Thou art thy mother's daughter, that loatheth her
husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters,
which loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was an
Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
(Ezek 16:46 KJV) And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her
daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that
dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
(Ezek 16:47 KJV) Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done
after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing,
thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
(Ezek 16:48 KJV) As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister
hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and
thy daughters.
We all know the story of
Sodom. That generation. That verse should tell us a
little, - - no!, - - a lot! - - about us. This generation.
(Ezek 16:49 KJV) Behold, this was
the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and
abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did
she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
(Ezek 16:50 KJV) And they were haughty, and committed abomination
before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
(Ezek 16:51 KJV) Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins;
but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast
justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast
done.
(Ezek 16:52 KJV) Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear
thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more
abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be
thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast
justified thy sisters.
We, (this generation), must
certainly be the worst.
(Ezek 16:53 KJV) When I shall
bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her
daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will
I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:
(Ezek 16:54 KJV) That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest
be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort
unto them.
(Ezek 16:55 KJV) When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall
return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall
return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall
return to your former estate.
(Ezek 16:56 KJV) For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth
in the day of thy pride,
(Ezek 16:57 KJV) Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the
time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are
round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise
thee round about.
(Ezek 16:58 KJV) Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine
abominations, saith the LORD.
(Ezek 16:59 KJV) For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with
thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the
covenant.
What a Great, and Forgiving
God, we have. Would You, or I, do what He is about to do, in the
next few verses?
(Ezek 16:60 KJV) Nevertheless I
will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I
will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
(Ezek 16:61 KJV) Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed,
when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger:
and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy
covenant.
(Ezek 16:62 KJV) And I will establish my covenant with thee; and
thou shalt know that I am the LORD:
(Ezek 16:63 KJV) That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and
never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am
pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord
GOD.
What people, other than the
United States, would best fit those described in this study?
Or what point in time, would best fit the verses we have just
covered? Me, I think it's us. The U.S.A. - - - And the time, - - is now.
I want to insert some verses from Revelation
concerning some of God's people, who have gone a whoring.
Rev 17:1 And there came one of the
seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying
unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the
great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Let's look at another verse
that tells what the waters of Revelation are.
Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me,
The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth,
are peoples, and multitudes, and
nations, and tongues.
Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed
fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk
with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness:
and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names
of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and
decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup
in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY[1],
BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS[2] AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE
EARTH.
The word mystery, indicates
religion. This must be false religion.
[1] 3466. musterion, moos-tay'-ree-on; from a der. of muo
(to shut the mouth); a secret or "mystery" (through
the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious
rites):--mystery.
[2] 4204. porne, por'-nay; fem. of G4205; a strumpet;
fig. an idolater:--harlot, whore.
Is this where we get our word pornography? Here we
see the mother of all whordoms. It takes place in this, the
final generation. And what does God say to His People who are in
this?
Rev 18:1 And after these things I
saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the
earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon
the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of
devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every
unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication
with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the
abundance of her delicacies.
Same ole thing going on
here. Just like in Hosea and Ezekiel. Now some say God's people
have been taken out of this ole sinful world, long before now.
But here, way over in Revelation, chapter eighteen, God is
talking to his people.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice
from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that
ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her
plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath
remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her
double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill
to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously,
so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I
sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
God, will take care of His
people. He will never leave us, nor forsake us. Right up to the
very end, He is there, offering to those of us that have
stumbled, a way out. I want to repeat a verse that was included
early on, in this study.
Jer 30:11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though
I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee,
yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in
measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
There are lots of things, currently going on, concerning the United States at this point
in time. And it can be verified in the Bible. For time sake, I
feel this is enough for one study. Again I say. What people, and
what time frame, best fits the verses, we have just studied?
We have a Most Wonderful, Loving, and
Forgiving, Father.
Thanks, for allowing
me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto
God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness.
In His Word,
